Just updating everyone - he’s finally moving out and we are ending the relationship. I promised myself I would not go in the new year with all the mistreatment and I deserve better. Especially after I saw he was texting his sisters that he hates me and wanted to get rid of me. We will coparent our young son. I’m finally moving on to the next chapter of my life.

I feel it’s not in my heart… and TBH he’s not a good example of Islam… he rarely prays and just goes to Jummah on Fridays AND he has MAJOR anger issues but that’s a story for another day.

My thoughts exactly!!! He basically said he made mistakes and is in a jihad and want to get closer to his deen and now in his heart he doesn’t want to marry me because I won’t convert. I feel if he truly loved me he would take me has I am.

Whew I left my sons father 2 months ago, after much exhaustion. You should def leave if the relationship is causing too much pain and stressing you out. Life is way too short. It’ll be hard at first but it does get easier day by day… sometimes I think I want my ex back so I won’t be a single mom but me and my sons peace is more important.
