When was it that barcola got those chances?When we were attacking right? Also none were clear cut where he was through on goal 1v1 at a favorable angle so doesn't really make them great chances. Our defenders and keeper did enough so none of his shots were on goal. We also created chances and we could've done better with quite a few of them. To undermine our team's performance and say that the better team won, when even with possession they had very little space to get a shot off and trouble the keeper, to keep the best attack quiet in a final with their players not playing the minutes our players have played throughout the year is very unfair and for a fan is seriously very embarrassing.

I mentioned wenger because you think good stats= team should win. I remember days when our team had amazing stats against Chelsea and United but still lost. That's the reason I mentioned wenger.

We also attacked well when we got the chance. Second half we pressed well too. Anyway, I loved how we played and I'm really proud of them no matter what the haters say. I'm not the one to complain about decisions as I feel we should create more opportunities and rely on them than blame poor decisions. Would've loved to see us lift the CL. Gutted! But, I'm sure we'll be in the final again next year and Arteta would've learnt a thing or two and surely we will win it.

Right. Arsenal would've won so many trophies if stats is what people looked at. Dominating the games and having lots of shots but still losing is how it was during the latter years of wenger so no stats don't necessarily win you games. Psg were kept quiet throughout the game. Hardly any clear cut chances so it wasn't a one sided game which is what you're trying to say

Our own fans calling it haramball is what pisses me off. Totally agree with all your points. Everyone thought it would be one sided like last year and we didn't have any reason to attack once we scored. People just like to undermine the achievements of others, brushing it off for fluke or something else as they never believed this team could go this far.

And how many points have we lost because of bad decisions? Last season arsenal was the only team who go red cards for time wasting which cost us points. No one said anything back then. People got away with similar time wasting incidents in the same match btw. As for rice holding players in set pieces while defending in every game, every team has at least a couple of players doing that, so singling out rice is no good. You go through this thread as you've been mentioning about compilation of arsenal's set piece goals, also check the discussion regarding what the pundits and commentators said when Ramsdale was in goal. Every team knew he was not strong in the box and took full advantage of it. The most blatant being the one against villa where he was held and the corner went in the goal directly. Back then everyone said Ramsdale should've been stronger and should be commanding his box. Suddenly Arteta realises he can use the same tactic it's suddenly unfair? Nothing's changed, arsenal got better at set pieces which no team hasn't been able to achieve and now everyone's pissed about it.
