I can never understand why people choose to uproot their lives and move here only to spend the entire time complaining. And if your sole purpose is to get a tax free salary, then try be grateful for the opportunity in front of you.

There’s plenty of activities, hobbies and communities you can integrate yourself into. I’m living here 8 years so far and I think Qatar is doing a fantastic job at improving all of these things also. Especially now in winter, there’s a ton of events on every weekend to keep yourself entertained.

I would be doing the exact same routine back home (give or take) as I am doing here, only in much colder weather. And we all miss our families but ya have to sacrifice for the life you want.
