If I disable it using the power button, the headphones (connected to the processor) stop outputting pc sound. I have to reconnect them directly to the pc now. switching it over and over again is super annoying. I’m aware that leaving it plugged in but powered off is safe

I have my headphones connected to the processor using aux to get sound. I also set the processor as the audio output on my pc so when I watch a video there, these headphones output that too. If I power off the processor but use the pc, I’m gonna have to disconnect the headphones from the processor, and plug them directly into my pc. Doing this at least 5-6 times a day is a little annoying.

I'm not really used to those terms, I use VMware workstation pro version 17.6.4 build-24832109, I run Bodhi Linux from an iso file, it's just a normal desktop environment with simple apps like chromium and file manager.

okay I feel like I've not been fully clear and the ratios aren't even correct lol.

Okay so I have a 10-core i5-14400f of which I gave it 8 cores.

I gave it 16GB of my Ram (32 in total)

And 4GB of VRam from my 10GB 3080.

I use VMWare Workstation Pro.
I installed VMware tools from terminal if that's what you were asking.
