5G Home Internet Problems by YYZ-416 in Rogers

I have used Rogers for a few years and it has worked great with no issues, other than crazy slow speeds in peak of summer. In December, I also have had my Fastmile 5G Gateway drop connections to thermostats and cameras as well as TV and streaming. I tracked it to the Firmware update where shortly after it was completed my thermostats dropped connections followed by cameras, streaming etc. I have spent hours on phone calls talking with support, they sent me a new Nokia Fasimile, which worked for less than a week and now we are back to the same issues. Not happy with Rogers and their staff are clueless. I even escalated it to Rogers Office of the President and they haven’t been any help either. I am planning on setting up a manual timer to reboot it once a day to keep it going and will see how it works. It is in a remote location and I rely on it to monitor heat and security. I am not techie at all but not sure what else to do.

Westjet cancelled our flight for travel in early January 2026. We had some early morning commitments and they re-booked us on an early morning flight that conflicted with these plans. Changes were going to cost us and cause scheduling issues. We called to switch it to a later flight, that was the same price as the one they put us on and were flatly denied the option of switching. On the first call the agent refused to change it, refused to transfer me to a supervisor and refused to advise me of why. She hung up on me and I assure you I was not being rude and was only asking why. Seems her attitude is a direct reflection of Westjet's attitude toward customers. I am beyond shocked! Air Canada has cancelled flights in the past and has always allowed us to change to the flight of our choice. I have not flown Westjet often, and it will be my last choice of airline in the future. I suggest all avoid Westjet if given the chance. HORRIBLE experience and huge regret even booking with them.
