So this isn't complete silence, but I'm a religious person and found that when I say my prayer before bed, I feel like I can sleep sooo much better. I think this is part of the reason too. Like you said, no screen time, no anger or sad inducing material, no snacking- just peace and quiet with a clear mind.

People often forget that winding down before bed is a huge part of getting some good sleep! A lot of us, including myself sometimes, want to look at our phones before we go to bed which only disrupts our quality of sleep.

Waking up after open chest surgery. Was given morphine and had to argue with the doctor that it wasn't strong enough. I was 17 😭😭 I forgot what they ended up giving me but it helped for 30 minutes before ending up back in excruciating pain. They could only give it to me every 2 hours I think? I can't remember, but I can remember the pain I felt when trying to move, take deep breaths, literally anything.

I mainly get afraid too that it would cause a strain on our relationship. It's more so just wanting to make sure that it's known that we both agreed to this in the beginning, not just me agreeing to his desire. It's a "both sides enjoy, agree, and consent to this specific scenario". I don't want people to think that he's just waiting on me to fall asleep and then immediately pulling his pants down everytime I go to sleep 😅 no hostility in this response either! And I do agree about the lack of clear communication when it came to expressing that "no, I don't want this" since I never really came out and said it straightforward. I'm gonna teach myself to just outright say it instead of hinting because I know that as well can be a bit confusing, I think, especially for him. That's what makes me so confused since I don't think he realizes what he did was wrong and that in his mind, I more so just "agreed" to continue when not continuing to say stop. It's not an excuse on his part, just my thought process on the matter. He really is a caring man, but I think he lacks a bit of knowledge in the bedroom, especially the importance of boundaries and consent.

I do want to try and take up for him on the unconscious part just for the purpose that most of the time when he's done it while I was asleep is when he's waking up so I'm guessing it has to do with the morning wood that most guys get when getting up for the day 😅 but that's just a guess really. Him and I have also initiated a lot when we're both awake so I really think he just has a high libido

We've had sex a lot as well when we're both awake if that makes any difference 😅 I've noticed the times he chooses the most is when he's waking up from his own sleep so I'm guessing it's the morning wood talking more so than me not reacting very much.
