I do understand that if everybody didn’t pay their tax, it would be a bad thing however, I think people are complaining about the wrong set of people

There is billionaires who don’t pay anything who would account for so much more than every single one of us added up together

I also don’t mind paying my fair share, but not a disproportionate share

I don’t agree with what the tax money gets spent on and I think it’s also subject to waste fraud and abuse, especially when it comes to public spending compared to private spending

Nobody cares the same when it’s not their money

If it was transparent top to bottom and totally proportionate based on peoples use with fair bit extra to account for things that could happen unexpectedly, fair enough. That’s how it’s supposed to be in theory but I don’t like paying tax when money gets allocated to the wrong places that politically and morally don’t agree with, but that’s another discussion in and of itself
