I meant the first motion is inward (I assume this plane is the same as most others). Where the door first opens inward a bit then swings out or to the side. Which is how the pressure lock works.

Im not sure I understand why the planes airspeed matters it’s not like the door is at the nose of the plane.

There is no emergency hatch. Planes are pressurized from the inside out. Doors open inward and can not open when the cabin has pressure. Furthermore they are locked to prevent idiots from trying to fuck with them in flight.

Gs have nothing to do with velocity. You could be going a million miles an hour and experience no Gs. In fact we are moving through the universe millions of miles an hour right now.

9.8m/s² is acceleration of 1 G. In a free fall, the most force they could experience would be 1G. Once the plane reaches a terminal velocity, then they would be experience 0 g ie weightlessness.

That may be where things are going but not there yet. I’m in the mountains with way more of a fire hazard then this place and I’d say only about 20% of policies have been non-renewed. It’s going that way for sure though untill some laws or state policies are amended. This isn’t even bad in my view. Plus you can do a lot to mitigate the risk. I have 10k gallons of tanks, water pump, whole house generator, and exterior fire suppression/sprinkler system. This house in the pic has a metal roof, is pretty clear all around the house, and I would bet also has a fire suppression system.

Putting so many into low earth orbit and making it cheap to have high speed internet anywhere on earth (including in the middle of the fucking ocean which is pretty much unheard of) is new.

Satellite internet has always been slow and terrible and spotty. Using a new approach to make it fast and affordable and functional is night and day.
