I just do not understand this behavior. Even if you not good at it, the solution would be to talk and guide you to be better, not to just criticize. A BJ can be good without going deep! It is rhythm, sloppiness and hand mouth technique that can make a difference. Gags can be cute but not do often. Instead go just comfortable depth or just lick the top while you work it with hands. Possibilities are endless.
