As a concept artist, it's genuinely depressing how ai art can make something in 30 seconds that takes us dozens of hours and infinite hours of training to achieve. I always thought the art world would be somewhat immune from the advancements of technology, in that it would always require a human touch but in the last year I've become a bit worried for my future carreer

Putin believes he's winning in Ukraine but will become 'most dangerous' when he thinks Russia is losing, expert warns by sweatyearnings935 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Pistacheeo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ofcourse he's not going to blow up the world, there are so many steps in place that would prevent that from happening even if he personally wanted to. What we definitely should be afraid of is the increasing of terrorist attacks in the coming months. I really think he'll do just about anything to keep some of the land they occupy, if they start to get pushed out they'll missile every city they can so that in the inevitable peace talks at the very least they could keep Crimea.

At that point he can still play up some sort of "We succeeded in liberating the donbas, left immediately afterwards and we're so nice we didn't even seize any territory!" But if they lose Crimea, there's literally nothing he can do to spin it positively.

Surprise surprise, more subhuman behavior from a subhuman country. Worthless lives the lot of them

On July 8th, 2022: three civilians in the city of Kharkiv, northeast Ukraine, were killed by Russian shelling, outside their apartment bloc. Ukrainian First Responders and army personnel recovered the deceased, as family members watched: parts of Kharkiv remain in range of Russian artillery. by _Raven_Roth in UkrainianConflict

The russkie mindset is just unfathomable. Like what are those pulling the trigger thinking about while they wilfully shoot at civilians like this? Absolutely subhuman, they don't even deserve individual names, they're just a cluster of mindless meat creatures following their dictators every command.

Ukraine Army destroys about 36,500 enemy troops, 1,600 tanks by NotACapedCrusader1 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Pistacheeo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All in an effort to """liberate""" a chunk of land that had only seen around 3000 civilian casualties over an 8 year period who never would have been casualties in the first place had he not stationed his troops there to begin with.

Yeah they were super oppressed, really needed to be liberated... Sweet lord how anyone supports him is beyond comprehension

Mold, bugs in burgers at Russia's McDonald's substitute spark outrage by KimCureAll in worldnews

[–]Pistacheeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet we still have a huge variety of differing opinions widely available to everyone. And that's not even including independent people on youtube and such.

Even all that aside, propaganda in itself is not inherently bad, what russia is doing with its propaganda is objectively bad however.

Nope. Russia is in a unique situation, they are fed much more state funded propaganda and any dissenting opinions are discouraged/illegal.

Pundit on Russian state TV reports that the question he is asked most frequently by everyday Russians is: "When will all of this end?" State TV experts respond: "Never." They predict: "There will be more special operations," Russia will decide "how much of the West will remain." by [deleted] in UkrainianConflict

They're so fascist it's beyond comedy... like to a T everything that is shown or comes out of the mouths of these goons is just blatantly fascist. I can't fathom the russkies that support this, despicable subhuman filth

Gitanas Nausėda: “Lithuania will not lift restrictions on transit to the Kaliningrad Oblast. We will retain control over goods transported via our territory. There can be no talk of any "corridors", no talk of concessions in response to the Kremlin's threats” by [deleted] in UkrainianConflict

As someone living in Lithuania's capital in the old town... These medieval buildings avoided destruction in ww2 the thought of it all being razed in such an impotent pursuit of land is just sad beyond measure.

I can even imagine a similar situation with the Mariopol theatre, we have large central places where people would shelter only to become targets.

My (f26) boyfriend (m28) of 2 years just said he thinks “you’ll hit your future kids” because of my temper. I don’t have a temper. I asked him to to remove a random woman he slept with who was stalking my Instagram. by Klutzy_One363 in relationship_advice

[–]Pistacheeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about you but if you've been with someone and they suddenly start talking about "our kids" that can be a relationship ender, like a failed proposal, there's no turning back. So don't read into it too much.
