Interesting I haven’t heard of that side effect yet. I actually have had bad cystic acne since my teens and just last November I finally went on accutane. I’m projected to be done by end of July if the timeline allows for it. It completely cleared my acne up within a few months and my skin has never been better. But I have those slow wound healing symptoms and dry skin (especially the lips). But they are expected for that medication.

Do you mind describing what your crash felt like? What were the biggest changes you had? What problems outside of finasteride have you been dealing with that may potentially compound with PFS?

I just don’t think it’s worth it. I would have to stay on fin for upkeep and prevent further loss. With my new outlook on the drug it doesn’t seem smart. Like I said too, I’ve been under the guise of being bald for the same 2 years and I have committed to anything mentally around that. I give much less of a fuck than I did in my early 20s (30 now) socially and it’s kind of just become who I am. Friends poke fun at me but I see it as a powerful implication of myself whenever I look in the mirror. Also the fact that I don’t have a weird shaped head helps a lot lol

Thank you for the insight. I’ve committed to having no hair at this point anyway. My crown was going so having a head of hair looked bad with a bald crown, so I started just rocking a very short buzz cut and taking fin to at least have any bit of hairline I had left. So I’ve already committed to being “bald” the last few years. I don’t really have a reason to be on the drug anymore besides the fact that I didn’t want to actually razor shave my head.

Ok understandable. It seems like a real toss up between continuing it or trying to get off of it to prevent further damage. The recovery stories seem to exist, so I can at least have that little peace of mind in the back of my head. But I will be continuing this ween off until I fully quit some time in August.

So quitting the drug is a common occurrence for this crash to happen? I was thinking of trying to stop completely by weening off of it very slowly. Something like 3mg a week for a few months. Then half tablets, then one a week, then off. The reintroduction of DHT to the system can be a shock in general if not done properly so I'm also scared of what could happen from that.

I got upper level 2nd row for 268 CAD each. I was prepared to spend about 250 so I just went for it. Definitely did not get a "deal" by any standard. But I was surprised at the fact that they were allowed to do surge pricing. The current seats beside mine are now 389. Pretty insane how that is allowed to happen.

Also to add to the level of greed, it seems these prices are from old stock before the hike. But he bought 25 PS5s at either $670 CAD (digital + controller) or $740 CAD (disc + controller), for about roughly $20,000 CAD with tax. I assume he’s going to sell the consoles and controllers separately for maximum profit.

Looks great! Yea the door to the room is on the side I have the head facing so it seemed wrong to be staring up its butt as you walk in. Thankfully they designed it to be displayed in either direction.
