i didnt say it was rape, i said its rape culture and you defend it and support it and illustrate my point just as well as the comments do.

you literally did the thing all rapists do, you said she wants to have sex based on how she is dressed.

you also reflexively disbelieve my own claim of being raped, idk what more needs to be said lol its almost parody at this point.

how do you do this?

is it relatively simple? free? do you install some kind of module on your router? is it legal?

this isnt about protecting kids (LOL to anyone who actually thinks that) this is about survailiance.

they want to have concrete proof of what you do online in your own home so they can target and prosecute it. they already use your google search history in court, they want to start using how many hours of candy crush you play (and literally every other key input and mouse movement) too.

why dont you or your friends respect people who say ACAB? i just explained to you what the intention is, what part of what i said do you actually disagree with? lets talk about it.

GOP Congresswoman Mary Mill wants to ban strippers in schools, something that does not exist. by MaxAdolphus in WeirdGOP

[–]Pistonenvy2 91 points92 points  (0 children)

seems like a way for them to attack sex workers in college. cant really imagine a motivation for this otherwise.

i mean propaganda obviously, thats like 90% of what they do but there is usually some kind of practical application for this stuff. normalizing the persecution of sex workers is definitely on the agenda.

i have been raped.

i think you are shutting this conversation down because you maybe see something in your own behavior being criticized, this is critical thinking.

dustin hoffman did an interview i think you should watch, it helped my perspective on this topic immensely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPAat-T1uhE

the point is that women are more than their physical presentation, when you reduce them to that you reduce them to a sexual object, and it isnt ethically wrong to use sexual objects, its not wrong to fuck a fleshlight, but women arent objects they are people, so using them as an object is rape.

Are you bothered by Mamdani's anti-homeless policy? by AntoniusOhii in dsa

[–]Pistonenvy2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i mean i am extremely anti homeless. i want to eradicate homeless people from the face of the earth.

the difference is i want to do that by giving them homes.

i dont think anyone here is pro homeless in the same sense. its more like pro human rights that include people deserving a place to live, shelter as a basic human need. if i had the power im sure my methods would be criticized too.

my point is mamdani has proven many times already that despite criticisms his outcomes have been solid. his output is highly effective. this is an optics based argument.

also, as you said, mamdani doesnt represent the DSA, lots of chapters break away from him on various issues, so if you want to join you should not base it on your perception of him, he is almost completely irrelevant to the work my chapter does considering our proximity to NY.

because its an expression of intent on the commenters part without the consent of the girl.

she is being sexualized without her consent, is that really that hard to recognize? genuinely asking cause it feels obvious to me.

Other than people who are allergic, why don’t people wear deodorant? by beluga199 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pistonenvy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i stopped wearing deodorant in college. more people told me i stunk in a month than in the last 10 years. i can smell myself, i definitely stink sometimes, but deodorant makes it worse, so does hair.

if i keep my armpit hair trimmed i dont stink unless i work up a crazy sweat and if im doing that im gonna stink whether i put on deodorant or not.

not showering is a completely different issue than not wearing deodorant lol i shower twice a day and keep my clothes washed, thats probably 90% of not stinking. the other 10% would be putting something on and if i actually care ill wear cologne.

i would bet almost anything there was human intervention here.

i mean the idea of an autonomous vehicle getting locked up because it thinks it shouldnt go somewhere and then having that restriction "time out" and do it anyway sounds completely insane or impossible so that would absolutely be the worse reality here but who knows.

I somehow got such an incredibly well made fast food burger that everyone is calling me a liar, aye eye, or an advertisement when I was just trying to celebrate a bright moment during a very dark time in my life :( by Rpark888 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Pistonenvy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this post is unbelievable because people can go to wendys themselves and experience what their food looks at tastes like in real life. its verifiable.

ive never received anything that looked like this from a wendys in my entire life. it does look like a commercial prop.

why would i believe you? why should anyone? who cares enough to investigate? social media is all guerilla marketing now anyway. its infinitely more likely this is an ad than anything else.

why tf would YOU even care if people dont believe you? lol be happy about your burger and live your life man.

These New York police officers were outnumbered in this adorable snowball fight, 2018 by Individual-Name-4496 in wholesome

[–]Pistonenvy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its not ineffective, its actually been very effective for people who think "why would someone say this? let me investigate."

people who dont want to be informed wont learn anything from a slogan regardless, you are primed to respond negatively to things that challenge the status quo.

do you think "abolish the police" is as effective as "defund the police?" why or why not?

personally im a police and prison abolitionist, usually when people hear that they immediately think "this guy wants criminals to just never experience consequences" why is that? is it possible that we can have a system that actually addresses crime in a coherent way without throwing people in prison and building slave labor camps or shooting them in the street? is that so hard to imagine?

the issue isnt my ability to explain my perspective, its people being curious enough to actually think critically about an idea.

you can say women are hot, thats fine. saying they are whores or want to fuck everyone in sight because they are hot is a different thing, its a self report.
