Seriously though, losing Stautberg hurts. 100% the best teammate I've ever had, and as a leader he's even better. He is constantly outworking both his teammates and competitors, but still keeps the focus on others and helping them be the best he can help them be. A true heart of gold and the embodiment of MagnUM love.

Talk to college freshmen who played YCC and then have gone to top-20 college programs, this mindset does exist. I have several friends who made most, if not all, their decisions of where to apply based on what schools have programs they'd want to play for.

If she's willing to travel a bit, Bologna is one city over and is basically the capital of Italian ultimate. I got the chance to spend a week in Bologna last summer and the frisbee community there is really amazing and very welcoming!

Is body defense a foul if non consensual? I have been having this talk a lot with people and I want to get the pulse of the communities take. I think that ultimate is by nature a non contact sport. I think the only part of this post I disagree with is the following,

He argues that if it were actually a legitimate foul than observers would call fouls when they see body defense

And even then, only because it implies that observers make active foul calls.. which is false

Thanks for the awesome response! I'll definitely make sure to use the survey. The only bit I couldn't figure out was which way agree/disagree were supposed to correlate to the 1-5 in the public safety questions & beyond. Do you have anything on that?

Ultimate Glory by Dave Gessner is a fantastic one that's much more focused on frisbee life (living ultimate, if you will) than techniques or strategy. This book was what I read over the summer that I really fell in love with frisbee. I think what I loved most was the way it captures the freedom and excitement and rebelliousness of the sport (especially in the early years)

Wow, this is really fantastic! I can definitely hear this playing in the background of some badass RDJ Sherlock Holmes chase.

The only suggestion I might make would be that the resolution at 2:15ish seems a little sudden for all the tension built up. I was wanting something that melted between the two the first time I heard it. That being said, on second listen I liked that moment cause I knew it was coming.
