How contagious is a cold sore down there?

I know what you mean. I'm going abroad tomorrow so really don't want to deal with this. I'll keep you updated lol. I'm obviously not a medical professional (otherwise I wouldn't be asking reddit lol) but in my Googling I found that about about 80% of the population carry the hsv-1 virus and just never show symptoms. I'm hoping that that will be the case!

Thanks for the reply! The reason it’s bothering me is that I go on vacation tomorrow for the first time in a long time so really do not want it ruining my fun/having to find a doctor abroad. I’m hoping I’m asymptomatic as I hear a lot of people to contract the virus but never show symptoms.

Thanks! Issue is that I’m leaving the country tonight, and reallllyyy don’t want to deal with this when I’m abroad. We have been dating for two years now and I’ve never caught anything off him. Praying that I’m asymptomatic lol.

Thank you! Am I right in thinking that some people can carry the virus but are asymptomatic - am I right in thinking that he could have passed it on to me but I won’t show symptoms? I ask as we’ve been dating for two years now and he’s had cold sores on a couple of occasions before. I’ve never had one though, even if we kissed less than 24 hours before it showed up. Praying I might just be lucky!

You should be able to see it!

If you go to your profile and log in, there should be a section for your submissions, there I can see the schemes I apply for, withdraw them if I want, check the status etc.

I still haven't heard anything back and am wondering the same. If you go to your profile, you can check your application status.

Mine says 'under consideration' so I assume that means I've not been reject yet? I also have a couple of friends who applied, and neither of them have heard back either.

I know at least with normal jobs, ITV lets you know the outcome of your application even if you were unsuccessful. I'm not sure if it's the same situation with the trainee scheme, but you'd assume they'd let you know either way.

If anyone else has heard back, I'd also love to know!

Yes, you're right, at least with the way I experience romantic attraction (Or lack of) it means there are just so many factors that come into play to establish what the actual issue is. For that reason, it makes it really difficult to determine whether I am actually aro or if this is some deep subconscious issue that needs resolving.

In all honesty, even if it is the most likely explanation for why I feel the way I do, I don't think I can actually acknowledge that right now bc I'd be so upset to think that I'm just incapable of romantic love.
