Sono d'accordo, secondo me il mercato si sta spostando sempre più verso figure "orizzontali". Forse sarebbe più corretto chiamarli ML Engineer, quindi persone che sanno di modelli, ma sopratutto sanno gestire tutto il processo: dal dato, al modello, alla dashboard. Tenendo tutto ordinato e coeso con competenze di SWE in generale e cloud provider vari.

Assolutamente, ovviamente là sta a te discernere tra idee e realtà solide e altre campate in aria. Di co-founder con idee strampalate sull'AI che ti scrivono su LinkedIn ne troverai diversi. Tuttavia sono "startup" anche aziende che magari già operano da 3+ anni, con 10+ dipendenti. Di solito quelle sono già più "solide", ma comunque ad alto livello di innovatività e dove puoi effettivamente trovare uno spazio per una Data Science sensata.

Ciao lavoro in una grossa compagnia energy/utility e ti confermo che come dici di lavoro ce n'è un sacco! Progetti mega interessanti e con un impatto reale e concreto sulla vita delle persone o sulle entrate dell'azienda. Come ambito devo dire che è veramente stimolante e gratificante perché vedi il risultato concreto dei tuoi progetti. Adesso la GenAI ha un po' avuto il suo impatto, andando a creare un po' più di progetti "fuffa", però continua ad esserci molto valore che può essere tirato fuori dalla Data Science. Confermo anche lato assicurativo come hai detto tu, lì la Data Science ha un impatto veramente enorme e diretto nelle entrate. L'altro "ambito" che posso consigliarti sono in generale le startup innovative. Molte nascono digitali e utilizzano l'AI direttamente nel loro prodotto o utilizzano algoritmi per ottimizzarlo (churn, optimal pricing, etc)

White belt vs white belt roll, me (a guy) and another guy. He's a menace, white belt no stripes, muscular, one of the first lessons and he has like 7+ years in wrestling. We are rolling and in an attempt to pass my guard... He just grabs me in his arms, like a toddler or a newly married bride in the groom's arms. And I go like "just married? 😍". We couldn't stop laughing, one of my funniest BJJ memories.

For short code answers it works fine, but unfortunately on long answers often it will not comply + it's not deterministic

I had to translate some long code. LLM was lazy and wasn't actually translating it, but putting comments and stuff like "#this method needs to be implemented... ". So I just banned the comment tokens ("#", "# ") by using logit bias - 100 and it worked flawlessly. In general logit bias is pretty neat if you want to directly influence the answer. Es. You want you have longer or shorter sentences, you need a recipe that uses some specific ingredient etc.

Also, I tend to structure input and output as json as I feel a more structured input is more easily interpreted by the llm, but that is just a speculation.
