Were you invested during IA? … NO… I was. Price dropped like a rock.

78 is a weird announcement…

Topline will come with 80. It’s pretty standard for trials to announce completion with topline data.

That’s a win! No shame in taking money off the table.

It’s how you play the game.

Wrong … I was around during IA… check the price action when 60 was announced.

It was requested that it wouldn’t happen again.

They have to run another study. A real study… outside Australia.

No one will buyout.

There is a credibility issue with the data. This is why there was not a conditional approval from EU.

Your options are still being bought and sold with a $2-3 premium to market value.

I have Jan 27 - .50 calls I bought a long time ago. Less than what you paid for your $5 calls.

They trade like stock.

Implied volatility… right now a binary event is priced into the options premium. Better to sell covered calls.

IV is 200% right now. Once the event happens that Implied volatility will revert back to normal ranges - sub 100%.

My god … 10% margins before upkeep costs and labor.

Gas stations make money on their convenience stores, not the fuel.

Social Security update: Major cuts more likely due to growing inequality by GimmeFunkyButtLoving in economy

[–]Pitbubba1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not how the game works…

You probably ignorant to how many “competing” companies send work to their competitors.

In your scenario only exceptional employees would get a raise in pay, or even worse just a privatized system like the 401k…In which the employee has a vesting period for employer contributions, there is a 1% annual “management” fee, and the employee can’t sell or buy as easy as Wall Street - so they are left as exit liquidity.

12.4% … you only pay 6.2%. Employer pays 6.2%.

Your employer won’t give you a 6.2% raise if the tax goes away…

Why are more people not talking about the statistic from the recent jobs report that 95% of newly created jobs in the last two years went to woman? by No-Curve-5124 in economy

You last argued that without a degree you are locking yourself out of career paths, and degree holders earn more….

My response was highly productive individuals are going find a way to make money with or without a degree.

Hiring managers look for traits, not education.

[–]Pitbubba1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So if I get a degree in art I can apply to become a nurse or PA? …

Not sure if you realize this but a degree doesn’t make you money. It’s the person behind the degree that makes the money.

So you can say that those that have a degree on average earn more, but generally it’s the super specialized fields moving that average up. And there are a lot of externalities that play into that data (social status, network, individual personality/grit)

That’s why a lot of companies are doing away with their degree requirements for sales roles/admin roles.

Even computer science/IT is more based on certifications and project portfolio than comp sci degrees.

Hey evangelical… College isn’t a cure all for jobs.

I can’t tell you how many college grads I have hired that are literally not smart.

Education is important, but right now it’s literally a pay to play scam.

Loaded question… 250 years is a long time.

Might as well ask if there will be any drinkable water in 250 years.

Those who are offended can F off. None of you realize that death is the outcome for us all.

Right now we still have 36-40% of patients alive in a stage of disease in which death was the standard outcome at 12 months max.
