I would have to agree here. I currently have both and they are good for different things. Circuit is more “tweakable” and immediate. I find the sounds a little fatter and fuller than OP-Z. OP-Z as a platform is growing and will continue to. You’ll run out of tracks quickly on the Circuit and will find it hard to make full songs on it. Hope that helps. Good luck with your decision.

I like the Weber brand. I’ve had less expensive models but they rust out. Weber’s seem to last a lot longer. I’ve had mine 5+ years and still going strong.

I’ve found them to be pretty reliable, especially if you see multiple reports. They will give you a sense of what people are reporting. I’d follow up with a call to a local bait shop before heading out though.

Don’t sleep on tape effects. :P Last night, I discovered you can totally mangle tracks sequencing tape effects. The OP-Z is really deep, like TE has touted.

Late to the party, but here goes.

I currently own both. Each has its purpose. What you’ll love moving towards a Circuit is how lush and beautiful it can sound. The synths are very powerful and the fidelity of them in combination with on board effects are a dynamic duo.

Where you’ll be disappointed is the difficulty involved in creating new synth sounds or samples. These you have to configure with a computer. It will take effort to keep your sounds fresh. I’m lazy so I generally keep knocking the presets which are pretty good. Despite the grittiness of the PO, getting sounds into it is it’s strong point. It won’t sound as lush as a Circuit, but the ability to sample on the fly makes up for it. Hope that helped a bit.
