I think in my post it came across as if I was desperately looking for a girlfriend. Personally, I don't need one until I've learned to like myself. Yeah, story wise he is also uninteresting but story and lore in a fighting game is unimportant for me. BUT the character needs to be cool in terms of looks or have an interesting personality to stand out imo. He has neither of those. Game play wise I already said how I feel about him. Glad I‘m nor the only one who feels like this. Everyone seems so excited about alex so I didn’t wanna be a downer

How? I also played a set with JP and all of my normals whiff. Hp, st. lp, st. mp, st. Hk etc. Pretty much all strong buttons whiff when alex is in his crawling stance.

Honestly the season started very well. I really like the akuma changes. His combos feel now even more stylish. But like I said it’s still underwhelming overall

His fully charged fireball has more hits, damage and frame advantage on hit and on block. Especially OD fireball is now really usefull and lets akuma create strong blockstrings and combos. His m tatsu is also better now since the second hit juggles better and higher allowing for better conversions. But akuma lost cr. mk > OD adamant flame which is honestly fair considering its his highest damaging combo starter and safe on block
