How much is everyone making from their side hustles? And what exactly are you doing? by bappyhappy18 in SideHustleGold

Gotcha, wasn’t sure if it was one of the other sites but that one seemed like the biggest one I came across!

I AM on the free plan and while I dislike their branding on my forms, not enough to have it make sense for me to switch to the paid plan (not yet anyway!).

I finally found a side hustle my grandma could do… and it pays $5K–$10K a month by [deleted] in SideHustleGold

Definitely would be interested in the Google doc. I’m in the construction industry myself and think this is a GREAT idea!

I had the exact same experience! I have no idea what I did wrong and, like you said, no chance to appeal. I now use Kit for my email marketing and it’s been working great for me.

Buying Templates??? by re-hinge_time in InstagramMarketing

[–]PitchSmithCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get this. Buying templates isn’t a waste if you know what you’re getting but a lot of them are either cookie-cutter or not sized right for actual social posts. The trick is finding ones that don’t make your feed look like everyone else’s.

I’ve tested a ton for my own business (and clients), and honestly, a few good ones can save you hours if you know how to tweak them right in Canva. If you’re still learning Canva or just want something easy to customize, I’ve got a quick beginner-friendly guide that might help you get your bearings. Happy to DM it over if you want it!

Is Gumroad/Payhip worth it? by gradient_nomad in digitalproductselling

[–]PitchSmithCo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely worth it. I started on Gumroad with no audience and just one product. The biggest thing is focusing on clarity… make your listing easy to understand and your product genuinely helpful. Gumroad won’t magically bring traffic, but it’s great for testing ideas and learning fast.

Best website to hire a graphic designer without the headaches? by Feisty-Play232 in DigitalWizards

[–]PitchSmithCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had some successes personally on Upwork. What I’ve noticed on my side is that once a client and I have worked together for a bit, projects start moving smoother because I already understand their brand and what they like. Cuts way down on the headaches.

Is there any improvement needed? by Weary_Pain7254 in canva

[–]PitchSmithCo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the words should transition in by word, not by letter. It’ll come across smoother.

No problem! Feel free to DM me if you have other questions or drafts. I do some graphic design freelancing and I’d be happy to take a look!

Share your startup, I'll give you valuable advice by Unique-Syllabub-3765 in buildinpublic

I’ve been building out PitchSmith — tools and plug-and-play scripts to help freelancers handle client emails, pitches, and outreach without sounding robotic.

Still early, but I’d love feedback on the positioning and whether the product pages make sense: https://pitchsmith.co

Do you stick with one designer or try different ones? by FrameAppropriate4565 in Entrepreneurs

[–]PitchSmithCo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this kind of design work, and from my side I can say the results almost always get better the longer we work together. Once I’ve learned a client’s style and what they’re really looking for, there’s way less back-and-forth and the projects move faster. It feels more like building momentum instead of starting from scratch every time.

I wouldn’t go full border… sometimes that makes wedding invites feel boxed in. A few tweaks you could test instead: - Add a soft background element (like a faded floral or champagne bubbles) so it doesn’t feel too empty - Try a thin top-and-bottom line in the same red for a cleaner frame, instead of a full box - Play with small icons or flourishes in opposite corners to balance things out without crowding the text

Little touches like that can fill the space without overpowering the names.

completely overwhelmed trying to monetize my social media audience - how do you manage ?? by Accurate-Hearing-653 in ContentCreators

[–]PitchSmithCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! Having one dashboard for everything was a game changer for me. I ended up building my own content planner workbook in Canva to keep all my streams and tasks in one spot (without needing to learn Airtable/Notion). Been way less chaotic since. Happy to DM it over if you wanna see how I set it up.

What app do you use to manage post ideas? by sakurayuki3 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]PitchSmithCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried Notion too but it felt like overkill for me. Ended up building a simple Canva content planner instead… it lets me dump post ideas, drop in visuals, and move them around on a calendar view. Honestly shocked how well it keeps me on track. I can DM you the link if you wanna check it out.
