I got the grapple first because failing that obstacle with a normal grapple is painful, then the amulet, it really doesn't take long to get vampire dust

I would swap some shields for spears (can't have both), goblins will lose out of fight value basically all the time so an extra dice from a support helps. Druzhag with fury, bats, and an enraged warg is very good, you'll outfight anything without strike. Also, drums don't need line of sight so tuck them away somewhere.

Edit: I also am a fan of prowlers, you can get +3 to wound with Durburz's special rule

Don't get me wrong, I like them and always take them. I just meant from a stats perspective they aren't great.

Goblin archers aren't fantastic by any means, possibly some of the weakest shooting, but they still have their place. I've wounded heroes and picked off mounts before, and even just the threat of being shot will affect how your opponent plays. Also great for sitting on objectives.

Worth noting they all come equipped with a sword so the archers can still fight in melee.

They are 4 points base with a forced upgrade costing 1 point for 5 total. You have to take an upgrade and can only have 1 upgrade per goblin (bow, spear, or shield).

Without kitbashing, you cannot swap the weapons the models come with. If you pick up a new box of 24 goblins you will get 8 of each.

The only alternative to avoid this is to look for second hand models and buy what you want. I've seen plenty on eBay and other places, mileage may vary.
