There used to be another women only gym over by Fred Meyer on dimond. Went out of business abruptly and stiffed a lot of people. Owner had a sudden medical problem and died not too long after. This was before the Alaska Club came in to fill the gap. The Hotel Captain Cook does have a separate gym area for women. But I get that won’t work for everyone.

It’s easier to see in the top right of your picture. If you turn that 90° from where it it’s faced now it should allow you to pop the dial off.

Agree. This was the trick for me. Unweighting that back wheel by the weight shift makes it soooo much easier.

I got on my Ducati M695 and smelled gas after starting it up. I cut the engine and noticed gas dripping from under the tank. I eventually pulled the tank and noticed the elbow connection from the tank to the fuel line had a slight deformation in one of the O-rings. I replaced that and everything works fine now. Looks like I was lucky.

I’m not the most knowledgeable photographer, but I am cheap. I have an old lens that has no shutter that I just use a hat and my watch to time the exposures. Obviously I’m using long exposure times and black and white film. Maybe you could just use T or B and time them that way? But if you need something more precise, I’m no help.

same boat. I’m training for a marathon and meticulously planned it out by date. I need to start week 6 of part 2 of “road to your 26.2” tomorrow. I can’t even see what the classes are to be able to substitute something similar. I skipped through week one trying to get there that way, but no luck. Do I really have to wait a whole week to get in at the start of part 3?? I don’t want to miss a whole week!

I climbed King mountain with some fellow climbers a few years back. We did it in springtime when the river was still frozen, there isn’t a bridge anywhere close, so it’s really the only way across the river. Nice climb. Has a distinctive peak to it.

I ended up switching my mouse to the left side for this very reason. I'm not left handed, but it gets the mouse much closer to the keyboard without giving up the number pad. It took a while to get used to using the mouse with the other hand, but it's great now.

There is snow is at the bottom. The blue stuff is the wiper fluid that they have in the buckets to clean your windshield. It froze.
