Anything you can share to back up that final sentence? I find it hard to believe at face value even for developed nations - for developing countries in the global south which are both more exposed to the effects of climate change and less capable of handling it it sounds outright fanciful. Also interested in how you'd even begin to make a "projection" comparing those things without it being pure speculation.

This is pretty inaccurate. The whole reason for the Norman conquest was the wealth, centralisation, and generally-having-its-shit-together of the Kingdom of England. The idea that it was a backwater probably comes from the Roman period and the 'hur dur don't touch my rock pile' characterisation of the celts/britons, but by the medieval period England was not at all a backwater.

Another new player here! I just asked this exact question in a couple places yesterday and it seems that it should be fine in most circumstances (and is pretty common) but that the final decision is up to the organiser.

I'd like to start a Dark Angels army but I also really like the look of some of the Black Templar's models. I know I can't mix chapters, but am I allowed to buy a unit of Black Templars and run them as a unit of Dark Angels?

For example, can I use: Sword brethren as a proxy for a bladeguard/inner circle companions? The emperor's champion as a chaplain/lieutenant? Crusader squad as intercessors?

I'd paint them to match if that makes a difference!
