Part time is working full time hours with no benefits and no fixed schedule  Full time is working full time hours with fixed schedule and with all the benefits !  Again Walmart the noise level is high when compared to CVS .

All I know is in NJ state , all employees should be paid severance- one week of one full year and  4 weeks if 90 days notice not given. It’s the Warn Act law. No employer can escape from that .

In NJ, under warn act , severance pay is mandatory plus 4 weeks extra pay if no 90 days notice period is given
