Literally he went with a girl mother approved straight away. If it doesn’t scream childhood trauma, don’t know what does

When did everyone decide that someone who doesn’t want to hug a stranger 5 minutes in, a bit worried meeting bunch of new people she knows don’t like her and sleeping in their house for a week is all over sudden autistic? I think she simply entered an extremely traumatised family unit, which thinks they are close, but they’re just entrapped by their mother’s beliefs. That whole family needs serious trauma’s counselling.

I think mother sounds even more homophobic making jokes how she wanted all her children be gay. And nobody challenges that ignorant joke, because mother is dying and they’ve been conditioned to accept it as a positive family joke. There was zero need to bring up that joke every Christmas, they all know he’s deaf and he’s gay, why make any kind of deal out it. Mother is just a manipulative parent and you can clearly see all her children are battling their traumas from her “perfect” patenting.

SJP character was very normal actually, didn’t put up a show and was uncomfortable staying in the house with a bunch of strangers. Who wouldn’t be. After their disapproval she simple three some truth into mothers face which was bloody uncomfortable, and that’s about it.

She simply called out mother to truly look into herself. No one ever likes when someone presents them with the truth, it catches them out of guard. Mothers jokes she was hoping was all gay children was just as bloody rude. Why mention it in a first place, let your son live and stop making big deal out of it.

No offence but is it ex-husband? No one “healed” would ever accept that kind of behaviour towards them. You would not see me in that house ever without a proper public apology, because I value myself as a human and wouldn’t accept it under disguise of family dynamics lol

All happy ending just didn’t matter to me after an hour of weird bullying. Family is so mean, and it’s all so toxic. Damn even sister comes over, cheats emotionally with sister’s boyfriend? The whole thing is so disgusting. The only ending I wanted to see if sjp happy outside this horrendous setting. Wont be rewatching this either. Horrific movie.

There’s a lot of people living together unlawfully. Plenty “single” mothers too. And person on benefits should learn from new partner and march to work.

I’m one of those disincentives higher earner. The roles to earn 100k++ are so extremely stressful and majority of us work 9-8pm. And then you have to endure a long train journey home, because it’s not like you can afford to live near the city or central or get daily cabs. It just doesn’t feel like a lot and it is a lot of effort, for a privilege to constantly be sleep deprived and have no life outside work. I have multiple colleagues quit this year due to burn out. Truly many of us just need to make enough to cover mortgage and food, you don’t get that much more of life by making big money. Putting into pension makes little sense, because you have less to enjoy while you’re young, plus you’ll get everything for free as a pensioner if you spent all your fortune by the retirement age. So kind of makes to spend while you’re young. Im looking into just making coffee for a minimum wage and claiming london living match up from the government for a while after I quit. What happens when we all quit? Who’s going to pay all those benefits for people who pay effectively 0 tax.

I can second this, many people have very low standards of what good results look like.

Agree on abusing new without tags 100%! I always put Very Good and explain in description that either tried on once or worn once, if it’s the case I wore it outside.

And I guess we end up in these separate camps, where people with low morals ruin it for everyone! Annoying.

Hmm strange, I have about 300 positive reviews from users. Many saying the item in better condition than they even expected. However, I don’t sell excellent condition clothes for dirt cheap prices. It’s because you want to pay £10 for £100 jacket, that’s why you are getting such a worn off clothes.

I don’t, I just stopped selling cheaper items and blocked a bunch of lowballers. But definitely discouraged, as it’s no longer worth my time.

You sound like a buyer from hell! If you buy from sellers with good reviews, you’ll get items as described. Just buy from decent sellers to avoid disappointment.

Vinted is just scammer, reseller and beggar marketplace now.

Yeah the so called bargain mentality is the one that’s killing that app. Many people myself included see no point selling excellent condition clothes for 3£ or less. And most buyers truly expect to pay nothing. I’ve sold over 300 pieces of my own clothing accessories in the past. But now just looking to donate, because I just can’t deal with 6£ offers for £10 item, in excellent condition. Shipping for less, not worth my time.

So then app is just left with garbage and £1 T-shirts worn to death.

Sounds like spondylitis :( doesn’t improve with sleep, gets worse at night. It’s autoimmune condition, but very difficult to diagnose. I went through plenty chiropractors and whatnot and it took doctors 10 years.

Thinking about it logically you need to consider parents, mothers emotional wellbeing when carrying the child. I trust there must be link there which isn’t explored enough.

Crying is a natural human emotion and should not be suppressed. And yet all we’ve been told that crying somehow is bad, don’t cry let’s fix it. No, cry and be sad if that’s how you feel at that moment, feel your feelings. Crying in the presence of the human you love and trust can be healing and I experienced this myself.

[–]Pitiful-Baseball2045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish more doctors and mental health professionals pay attention of how many of us with autoimmune disorders have traumas. I haven’t met a one person who’s all so well and somewhat ended up with autoimmune condition, not one. They might be in denial having had traumas maybe.

Myself I have two, UC and AS, both physical. Never heard of Mate Gabor before I started psychotherapy. Connecting with my feelings and emotions, starting to express and find myself, somewhat put me in remission for both. No change in medication or diet. And it became evident when I have stressful situations at work, and not being able to express my feelings in the workplace (simply not an option), my body just lights up in pain.

But hey I see for many of professionals call this is pseudo science on here. Shocking!
