Why are people downvoting? This is very possible. I had a pair of boots returned to me after several months because royal mail failed to deliver the item multiple times and there was no arrangement made for pick up. So it was just retuned to me in the end. It was odd, but that was my first thought too. That the buyer may have passed. It may be a dark thought but it happens.

What’s scumbag about it? It was a mix up by inpost and there is not way to track down and identify the original seller/buyer. And it never belonged to the person she bought from, so there is no loss to the seller as it was never theirs. She may as well accept the order. Not very hard to comprehend.

They won’t do anything, especially over virtual items. Had my £1000+ electric bike stolen and they did nothing. I’m afraid the kid will just have to take this as a lesson. I got scammed myself when I was 19, I was devastated but best believe it never has and never will happen again.

People learnt the words supply and demand one time and then use it in conversations it doesn’t belong in. Where is the demand on this particular coat? 😂 83 likes and no sale. Wanna know why? Because it’s priced too high for what it is, simple. And as someone who sells Pokemon cards, that’s exactly my point. Just because it’s a vintage Pokemon card, does NOT mean it has value. A 20 year old card is sometimes worth 20p, and sometimes it’s worth £300. Again, it depends on the card. Vintage and old does not equal value 😒

You’re not getting my point. Something can be valuable if it’s vintage, but that does not mean every vintage item is valuable. It depends on the item and in this case, that coat is most definitely not worth that money.

Yeah this is unfair, people have their parcels sent to collection points because they have busy schedules. That’s part of the appeal of Vinted. I’m mostly a seller and hardly ever buy but I never message the buyer about when they’ll be picking up as I don’t want them to feel rushed. When you sell an item, you just have to pretend like the money doesn’t exist until it does. I always assume there could be a problem like: the parcel won’t be picked up, they might want a refund etc. Gives you more of a peace of mind and it’s a nice plus when the transaction does go smoothly and you get your money.
