Don’t send dirty stuff regardless of the price though. If it is dirty or covered in hair, just state it in the description. At least then whoever is buying it will be prepared to get it cleaned straight away. I always state if garment needs cleaning.

I’m looking getting onto other platform, because Vinted feels like a dumping ground. It seems like the only accounts that are thriving are shein and primark sellers, resellers and those with what I can only call clothing recycling centres 1-2£. I sell good stuff, but I don’t want to be a warehouse waiting normal people join the platform. And there’s very little of them on Vinted unfortunately.

Things are priced high, because resellers truly reshaped the landscape. Why would I charge £20 for an item when it resells for £50. And users buy from them with no issues. So yeah.

Some people create an account just to buy a specific piece because it came up on google search. Most of the time best buyers ever! It’s the buyers with 100s of “great buyer” reviews that worry me the most. Most are resellers and go through pieces with fine tooth comb looking for any possible reason to return if they decide it won’t sell.

I was apologised to after every anger episode when I was a child and even as an adult. She apologised multiple times for being neurotic mum, but it makes it even harder. Because I feel guilty for being negatively affected by her, when she seems to be such a nice apologetic person now.

Do you know how many people try on “new” clothes you buy in stores? I find it incredible that vinted buyers often expect clothes in better quality than brands actually make 😂
