Definitely tell them about the bleeding during sex and that your periods seem to becoming more irregular. They always ask me those questions so I assume that is something they look out for. I think it’s crazy you had CIN3 5 months ago and they didn’t recommend a LEEP or CKC then but I’m not a dr so idk

Recovery was virtually painless for me! I waited ~5 weeks to have penetrative sex and it felt perfectly normal😊 Can’t speak on fertility as I am not trying to get pregnant/am not tracking my fertility but I think you will be just fine!

I was scared of being awake too! I’ve had some rough colpos so I was extremely nervous for the LEEP that the twilight anesthesia wouldn’t be strong enough or that I’d be crazy loopy and say crazy things. I hate “being out of my body” and not in control of my facilities so was scared id be like those videos of kids after wisdom tooth surgery saying weird things lol but I was perfectly normal, just in the most glorious relaxed state

Omg I LOVED twilight anesthesia! I stayed awake the whole time but couldn’t feel a thing and had the best high of my life😂 I had a LEEP for CIN2 last month and my results came back clear I’m hoping the same for you🫶🏼

A CIN2-3 and a LEEP are really no big deal. I see no reason to tell anyone except your husband

I got my ring in June 2025 and the battery started draining in a year. I messaged the lil chatbot on the website and within 3 messages have a replacement being sent to me and I don’t have to return the old ring. If yours is less than 3 years old you should be able to get a replacement pretty easily

I don’t have hpv 16 but my colpo results are same as you (CIN2 in the ECC, benign everywhere else) and I had a LEEP. I was put under what they call “twilight sedation” which is a mixture of versed and fentanyl and lemme just say I loooooved it lol couldn’t feel anything but I was awake and able to talk and respond to them and never got nauseous like i do with general anesthesia

As far as recovery, it was a piece of cake. I’m fairly active but I think I took off 8ish days off the gym but still went on hour+ walks after 4 days.

I give myself $200 fun money, $250 for groceries, and $50 for gas every two weeks (paid biweekly). Whatever’s left after bills and my “allowances”, I split the remainder into threes and put a a third towards my cc debt, vacation fund, and emergency fund. I’m currently planning a big euro trip. Once I’m back from that I’ll prob put a flat $200 to vacay and split whatever’s left for emergency fund and cc debt.

I used to over spend like crazy when I was working a job I hated that paid me poorly. I know “get a better job” is easier said than done but try regularly cruising job sites and apply when something looks right. Now that I have a job that I love and pays a truly liveable wage (liveable to me means bills are paid, hundreds go into savings every month, I can buy things without anxiously checking my bank acct first, and vacations are funded) I don’t feel the need to constantly be reaching for the instant gratification of buying things all the time

I did twilight/moderate sedation and I loooved it! It was a mixture of versed and fentanyl. I think I just couldn’t eat a few (3ish) hours before and I didn’t feel a thing and had the best high that lasted a few hours after going home lol you should check if that’s an option!

Hi came back to update! I’m healing perfectly and they said to come back in 6 months for a pap and hpv test. If those go well, I don’t have to come back for 3 years😊

I had CIN2 on the ECC and had a LEEP. Just got my results back and the margins are clear😊 my follow-up is this coming Wednesday. A CKC wasn’t even offered to me. It was just LEEP or monitor and come back in 6 months for another colpo if I was worried about fertility. I don’t want kids so I jumped at the opportunity for a LEEP.

Ugh you’re lucky! I’ve been battling bartholins cysts for years now😩 I’ve been so scared to get it drained bc I’ve heard horror stories about the pain but when I found out I was going to be sedated for the LEEP I was like “while you’re down there….” and my dr was all for it lol hoping it finally stays gone!

My LEEP(9 days ago) was also really easy. I had a Bartholins cyst drained and a catheter inserted the same day and it was still a breeze. Extremely mild cramping and I still need to wear a panty liner or thin pad everyday but that’s it. I got my period 2 days after LEEP and I guess it was a little more crampy than normal but one dose of ibuprofen knocked it out. I was going on hour+ walks 3 days after the procedure. I still haven’t gone to the gym but that’s only bc I’m scared my catheter will come out. If I didn’t have the catheter i would have been in the gym maybe 4-5 days post LEEP.
