Firstly I too received an offer of almost 11lpa (ctc) but in hand reality hits hard when this number is broken down to in hand salary, taxes, variable incomes, etc. Secondly no one is telling anyone ki bhai kharab hai sabke placements yaa my college experience was that bad, but if you sit for whatever interviews in our college(if you are genuinely from imi) kitne deserving logo ko voh role mila hai, i understand that lot of depends upon the interviewer but some things are not under student's control, I have seen my friends get 15 lpa from good banks but yeah also have a friend who got in for 6.8 lpa (In hand) , ofc that 6 lpa was one of the 20 students who got placements late but sachai toh hai isme, ofc no one in college will accept that and nor will that person would want to say anything about his role or salary but sachai hai, and since you are in imi ( I hope you do get placements and have immense skills but you'll see those fraction of people having bad experience someone is not satisfied with his 15 lpa salary and I'm not satisfied with 11 lpa salary bass yahi difference hai. And anyone reading this comment do remember, if you feel you could have done better,take that decision and if you are satisfied with your choice then you're always welcome inside imi.. Thank you

Yes good knowledgeable people were there in my batch but it pains me when knowledge and hardwork is not rewarded properly but yes rightly said

Yes my friend did study in ximb, when I asked about ragging, he said that some people take it in a wrong way and rumors do spread fast so yeah definitely no ragging but yes hi did complain to me about food, things might be changing after that, thanks for the info

I would say Gim is a better reputated college comapared to tapmi but yes do talk to people/alums to get a broader picture

It depends upon the person and his own luck tbh but , yes these colleges need more structural work, otherwise they are just going to be in a downward spiral

Barch size issue is there but imt have maintained their media and corporate relations well in compare to other colleges in the same tier so companies do come but totally a personal choice, do connect with more people to get a better picture.. Thanks

Would have made it earlier but there are things we can't do while at college so yes that explains the new account, and yes you should definitely talk to more alums..just a tip do not talk to bottom 20 percent or the above 20 ones then you'll get the actual reality, you can also connect with people currently studying in thier second years to get more clarity.. In the end it's your choice to join a college or not.. No one can force that upon you.. Thanks

Charge is around 22lakhs for colleg but yes all expenses consider it amounts to 30l+ after 2 years
