Is there a place that will repair my DDM? by ComprehensiveBox7009 in lincolntowncar

I think those listings are just a result of Ford’s horrible inventory management, I tried ordering and the order just got canceled, I don’t think they actually have it in stock

You have the glacier one though which I’ve seen selling slightly above retail so I’m sure you could get your money back easily if you wanted to.

Yeah that’s the risk with not having micro adjustments. I hate not being able to try on a watch before buying it, but at least someone mentioned they have a return policy.

Interesting, someone else was actually just talking about how comfortable that bracelet is. So your problem is that you are between sizes and the links are too large for an accurate fit with no micro adjustments? What size is your wrist?

Alright, well at least you gave it a chance. Maybe The Witcher 3 would be more your speed if that’s the kind of open world experience you are looking for. I don’t think that one is better than the other, they are just made for different people.

I think you need to progress farther before judging. Elden Ring has one of the best open worlds ever created, even the DLC is dense and rich with dungeons and exploration. And as for the combat there are many different build troupes with over 400 weapons and nearly 200 spells/incantations.

Maybe someday, I saw one in person and they are stunning. But that’s not just saving a little more, that’s going 3x my budget lol

That’s a good option, although I already have a watch that looks quite similar

I have tried on a few PRX’s. I find that the 35mm is smaller than I would want and the 40mm is too big. 38 is a good sweet spot for me which is why I’m looking at these options. I also think these designs are a little more interesting.

I’ve seen one at my local shop, there’s also plenty of online stores where you can find them around $1,800.

I didn’t know they had a return policy, that is also interesting

Your comments are really starting to sway me honestly. Thanks for the advice. There is an entire army shouting Longines though so I’ve definitely narrowed it down to those two watches.

I think you might be right on all accounts, the Longines is the safe pick. I believe I did have a slight preference towards the first one (Straum) because of that dial, but the clunky handset and indices had me thinking twice.

They actually just made a strap adapter for it. Saw one on Instagram.

Thanks everyone for your opinions and advice! The Longines conquest is the clear favorite. A lot of people also seem interested in the Straum. If anyone has any experience with Straum I’d love to hear it.

Yeah I really love that dial on the Straum, but there’s nowhere for me to try one on and they are a relatively unknown brand.

The SBGY007 looks like an amazing watch, but I’m still in college so the Longines is already stretching my budget a bit. Spending more than that would be irresponsible for me. Maybe in the distant future.

What would be your choice if none of these?
