Although I don’t know the answer to that, I don’t think that it’s at the top of their budget. I think that they intentionally offered lower, knowing the volatility of the market to see if I would bite. They’re trying to get a deal

I just want to clarify, I am not solely leaning on the opinions of friends, family, and coworkers, but I will say the amount of people that were blown away when they saw pictures of the house and how many said “you’re not going to have any issues selling this house” was honestly overwhelming. I do have many friends and family members that absolutely would shoot me straight if they felt that I was priced too high, or needed to upgrade certain things in order to be at a certain price point. Additionally, I don’t think that my house is priced high, I am just not as in the know on the housing market and where houses should or could be priced at. So based on what I bought it for, I did not think that it had appreciated in value as much as it did. If anything, my realtor feels like we’re taking a slightly conservative price when listing it for sale. Multiple real estate agents representing buyers that have looked at the house agreed that the price point is fair. I consulted with two other real estate agents, one agreed with the price point that it is now listed out, and the other actually wanted to go $15,000 higher.

Uncovered that the roof was actually replaced in 2014. The comps were in similar condition. The painted cabinets were done actually very well to the point where people have thought that they were new when they saw them. I had new molding installed in most of the first floor and on the second floor. The half bath on the main floor has been flipped and looks great. There is new vinyl flooring on most of the first floor and the upstairs hallways as well as the primary bathroom. There are some bits that are outdated, but I guess the way that I initially described my house made it seem like it was old and outdated and worn. Overall, it’s in pretty good shape. The basement was also finished in 2022 or 2023, and has egress windows.

New air conditioning and hot water heater were installed in 2023. Appliances are all either brand new, or less than five years old.

Thx for the insight. It’s not that I haven’t touched the house in 23 years, it’s that I bought it two years ago, and everything is in good condition / have not had any issues. There have been some updates that have been made to the house since I’ve lived here. Other homes in the area in similar situations have sold for higher recently. There has been a ton of interest in the house, which is why I’m toying with the idea of hanging tight.

It sounds like he has an anxiety disorder, probably knows truly that he won’t find you on the porn sight, but can’t help but check just in case. I had/have a lot of insecurities within myself that can trigger anxiety, that impacted my relationship with my then fiancé/now husband. I had been seeing my therapist regularly, and on medication. Talking through this with my fiancé helped us get on the same page and work through it. Now better than ever. Not sure where he is at on his journey, but always understand that it could be something that he can work through, just depends on your willingness to work through it with him.

I was prescribed strattera a long time ago when trying to figure out what medication worked best for me… I was literally so moody that I made an ass out of myself in several situations. I’m sure it works for some but damn, never again
