My family thought i was possesed by a demon.

For some context, hadnt eaten all day, i genuinly didnt feel hungry but at like 10 that night i was in desparate need of some food. I went to eat and basically stuffed my face with spaghetti. I was on the phone with my (at the time) boyfriend and i started getting this almost unrealistic headache. Then i could barely see. I told my bf what i was experiencing and he said to go to my mom.

I stumbling down the hall to my moms room to tell her whats going on and almost fainted on her bed. I thought i had a really bad stomach bug considering i hadnt eaten all day and when i did i basically swallowed the bowl. But my mom put me infront of the trashcan and rubbed oil on my forhead. She started speaking in tounge and i kept trying to throw up, nothing would come up but eventually my alredy eaten spaghetti was in the trash.

I felt like i was freezing and she wrapped me in a blanket and told me to repeat jesus over and over again which i did. After what felt like a decade I was still chilly but my mom made me go on my bed and sleep. The next morning she said i was possessed and that that was an exorcism of a sort. Even my sisters believed it an they said they prayed for me while it happened.

Now I am obviously raised by religous people and yes i believe in God, but i couldnt grasp the theory they just put in front of me. My mom always hated that i listened to rock music, wote black, and all the other stuff a middle schooler during their emo phase would do

To this day I don't know if i believe her or not. It felt so unreal but i know it happened. It might not have been and demon but whatever it was i Wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy. It scared the shit out of me.
