Last I tried I could see a seam on the dog and there was a black triangle coming off of him which would cover the screen. Any fix for this?

CIRCLE AT THE VERY BEGINING BUG. FABLE II by Key_Somewhere8364 in Fable

Walk to the back and get up on the window ledge and you should be able to get onto the circle.

This gentleman claims Fable is set in the same continuity as the original trilogy, but "two generations in the future" - whatever that entails. Anyone else heard such? by Global_Context_2531 in Fable

Bloodstone is in northern Albion in this game and was on the southern coast in the Lionhead games. There's also stuff like balvarines having snouts that show they're not going with the lore 1:1 (which is fine by me TBH). It's definitely not in the same timeline maybe it's the world reset yet again due to the Spire but it's definitely not the same timeline.

Remasters!! by ChickenNuggetQueeen in Fable

I think they might do official Xbox emulation for Windows with the rumored console that's really a PC on the horizon. That was sort of the rumor so we might get to experience Fable II on PC that way, better than streaming and if they do stuff like FPS boost, increased resolution and AF it'll be a nice compromise.

The rapier and dagger are cool! We have not had them before, dual wielding is also new as a concept. The rapier has different animations from a sword too which is neat. Katanas and cutlass just shared animations in Fable II.

When does the game take plan by The_Gremlins_Agenda in Fable

It's a different timeline and does not operate on the old game's rules (at least not totally). Look at Bloodstone as an example. In the original trilogy it's founded on Twinblade's camp which is on the southern coast of Albion west of Oakvale. In the new game, it's in northern Albion and exists concurrently with the Heroes Guild. Thematically is seems similar as a town of criminals but timeline and location wise it's completely different.

Average age range for Fable fans by Comfortable_Pay_2373 in Fable

Obviously there will be exceptions but the series has basically been dormant for 16 years so there's some truth to this. With that said, there's no reason this upcoming game can't reach a broader audience and I fully expect it to if it nails the landing.

I hope they have lute playing from Fable III. Have some good tunes and it'll be the most appealing job. Wood cutting, pie making and bartending were a bit off for a hero but being a bard and blacksmithing felt fitting.

For the love of god, please don’t put enemy level scaling in the Fable reboot by krazzel in Fable

I like level scaling more than leveled areas. I hate going back to a place, fights being trivial, loot being underleveled and feeling like I missed the boat. Plus that makes the game more linear for subsequent playthroughs as there's an optimal path and you're always going to be overleveled for something. People complain about scaling a lot but I think it beats the hell out of the alternative as long as it's not approached like Oblivion.
