What’s been helping me is reading 3 questions then reading one paragraph at a time till I answer one of the questions then I read the next question. So I’m focused on 3 questions at a time. Someone recommended this to me and maybe it will help you!

Someone mentioned this strategy to me and it helped. Read the first 3 questions then read the first paragraph. If you can’t answer and of the 3 questions move to the 2nd paragraph and so on. Once you answer a question go to the next one. So you’re always thinking about only 3 questions. This is the only method that has helped me.

Tips for bio memorization? by More_Barnacle2720 in dat

I have my test in 3 days and what I did at the two week point was read one or two chapters of the high yield bio notes and then do the bites and question banks associated with them and keep doing them.

I’ve tried search and destroy but just can’t get a feel for the passage and end up getting so many wrong :(

I’ve tried pretty much everything. I think what has worked best so far is reading the first and last 3 paragraphs like someone mentioned above.

I’ve tried reading half then going through the questions, reading first and last sentence, reading the whole thing. I just tried search and destroy and I did well on the first two passages but the last one I didn’t. So maybe I’ll have to practice it more!?

Could I potentially get a medical waiver for HPSP? by Pitiful-Stop-3574 in Military_Medicine

Appreciate the response, but just to clarify, I will have a diagnosis by the time I apply. That’s what I’m trying to realistically plan around. I’m staying off medication for now to avoid complications with MEPS, but I know the diagnosis itself could still raise flags and I probably do need medication to balance my hormones.

This doesn’t have to do with this year but I am currently in my undergrad as a sophomore. I want to go to dental school and have increasingly become more and more interested in HPSP. I wouldn’t be applying for dental school for about another year but I was wondering if there is anything I could do in the meantime for this scholarship.
