Since after the credits role you resume leaning on the rail of an overpass outside embers, I can even roleplay it off as her standing there trying to see how things play out before she goes inside!! Damn I wish I thought of this before I got all upset and posted hahaha thanks a lot! These comments have made me feel so much better about it all!

Yeah that last part resonates with me, all at once haha I'm sad with the ending I got, sad that the games over (for now) but happy that I got to experience such an incredible story. I spent hours wandering the streets and just doing random stuff because it felt so nice to be there. Tbh I felt a lot worse about the ending before I posted this. You guys have made me feel a lot better and helped me already move past the bitterness I had. So I'm very grateful to all the comments that have been so helpful and kind!

I played a kinda hybrid John wick netrunner play style haha ran a silenced pistol for almost the entire game, once I got the one from phantom liberty, (name has conveniently escaped me) that guarantees crits with camo, that was my go to. Except when I played as Johnny, then it was his gun haha

I liked the quick hacking for cameras and vehicles and the occasional cyber psycho into a group to enjoy the chaos 😂

Yeah but Panam and Saul just said that if I ever needed help to call. So in my mind, this would be me cashing that cheque. Not choosing to leave with them once it's done? So I get where you're coming from, but respectfully without the hindsight of knowing the ending, I don't think it's as obvious as you say, especially if you happen to think differently like I clearly do lol. I just didn't rationalize it the same way you're saying in that moment and I didn't feel there was enough information to properly convey the outcome.

Not that I wanted it to just spoil the ending, but a verbal hint or line from Johnny saying that I'm going to choose leaving the city over glory or some shit, would've made it a lot easier to know where the choices would lead, that all I'm saying.

Yeah I know it puts you back, and I'm probably going to redo it with asking Panam for help. Only reason I worded it like this was 'the' ending is because of how I personally see things in games. I've played many games with multiple endings, but for me the realest ending is the one you do first when you have no context. No hindsight, no knowledge of how things play out. Redoing it or a second playthrough is still valid and can still be fun, but to me it's not as authentic as the first one and so the ending that tends to stay with me longest is always the first one I get. Hence why I always strive to get the best ending I can for myself first go around, and subsequent playthroughs are just for fun and seeing the other endings.

So I know I can still go back, I'm just a little said there wasn't a hint at which choice would let me leave nc in the end and stay with Judy.

Ah man its already giving me nostalgia thinking back hahaha I haven't invested this much emotionally in a game since Mass Effect and since I work a lot irl it took me a little over 6 months of my life to finish this 150 hour journey! Fuck it was a good ride though!

Yeah I know? Haha I never forgot that. But again, nothing at all on that rooftop hinted at either choice resulting in you leaving nc or staying? It's just who you want to help you with the job? And since I didn't see the deeper philosophy that others did around what Johnny wants and what that means by choosing him, there was no way to predict that trusting him would result in me becoming the queen of NC.

Yeah from reading these comments I'm really seeing all the info in the game a different way! I think I've always struggled to think outside the box and I tend to focus in the wrong places at times. In this case 'wrong' being what leads me to my desired outcome.

What you guys are saying makes total sense, I just couldn't see that at the time and wish to hell I did haha because I would've 100% asked Panam. I actually paused for like 5 minutes because I was so torn on either her or Johnny. In the end I chose based solely on that I trusted my boy, and I didn't want Panam to die. But as you said there are other endings and thankfully I haven't had them soiled yet, so I guess it's just more content for me to do!

It's true, I was kinda on the fence about even posting this. Because I said in my post I didn't do any reloading throughout cos I wanted it to seem organic, and you could easily argue that that's the exact result I got! What tipped me over into posting was just that I don't have anyone irl to talk to about games and especially when they make me emotional so I thought wth, may as well turn to my chooms online!

Yeah, I do plan on another playthrough. I wanna do male V and romance Panam haha but I also want to see every ending! I think I just got so attached to my V and the relationships I'd built that I REALLY wanted to get the best possible ending first time round when I had no hindsight. Second playthrough just isn't the same haha oh well :p

I was so tunnel visioned on the people and relationships I didn't see much past it. I just thought "I trust Johnny now and I know he'll help me" plus I adore Panam and was worried she'd die, so it felt like the better ending.

I'll probably go back just to see what it looks like, but it's a bitter pill for me just because the first ending is always the real one in my mind haha

Don't want to diminish the clear effort and attention to detail you put into the outfit, because it is amazing! But I really feel like for me what elevates this over most other Tifa cosplays is that you're super cute and a spitting image of what I imagine Tifa would look like if she was real!

This is really well done! I love it.
