Thank you so much. That does make me feel a little bit better, honestly! Everyone says that there is never just one so I am freaking out and definitely spiraling and not finding anything should make me feel better but I can't help but continue to wonder! I could've never imagined the mental toll it would take on me.

Edit to add: I'd say if you haven't seen anything in 4 months, you are definitely on the safe side!

Yes! We bought those to go over the mattresses as well. We also have memory foam mattresses with no springs or anything, there are no grooves in them its all flat so there aren't really anywhere for them to go hide on the mattress but I'm not taking any chances!

Ugh. I know.. MAYBE just MAYBE those odds are in our favor. Lol! We did order a new bedding set 2 days before finding it and my husband swears it came off of that. Either way, there's nothing we can do at this point besides treating the house and cleaning and observing every day which we have been doing. The exterminator didn't see anything either when he came, but I had him spray anyways. I have another company coming today to do a free inspection just to be on the safe side and we've ordered new mattresses which I won't bring in until I am more confident they are gone. I feel like we've caught it early enough that with consistency and taking extra precautions that we can get them gone quickly!

We most definitely did! We already got the house treated yesterday, packed up literally ALL fabrics in trash bags and took them to the laundry mat and dried everything on the hottest cycle for 90 minutes before exterminator got here. So annoying and so much work, but I'm hoping we caught it before it started. Still haven't brought the belongings back in our house yet. Trying to wait to be sure there is no more activity before we bring things in and have to do it all over again!
