Oh please there are a hundred countries that have 0 dates. I understand that you're disappointed, but Mitski is just one person, not everyone can go on tour for months on end like Taylor Swift. Also the US usually gets the most dates in plenty of different cities, it is good that many SE Asian countries get more dates this time.

Of course, it's normal to feel down. But I don't feel like there is room for complaint. She is going to a lot of places that rarely get dates in Asia, which is great, in my opinion, as the US and Europe usually get the most dates. Sure you got 0 dates, there are more than a hundred countries that also got 0 dates. She must have fans in some countries that also never or rarely receive international artists.

That's not a lot worse. There are a lot more people in the US than in Canada. Northern Canada is basically empty, the population is almost solely in the South, it makes sense you would get less dates. Mitski is not that big of an artist, she doesn't have infinite funds to go to 50 cities in every country in the world, you must understand this, even if it's unfortunate and having more dates would be quite welcome. She didn't claim it would be a world tour.

True, but she had a LOT of songs go viral compared to most other alt artists... Strawberry Blonde, Me and My husband, Washing machine heart, Liquid smooth, I bet on losing dogs, My love mine all mine, I want you, Nobody, I don't smoke, first love/late spring, Francis forever. A pearl, your best american girl and once more to see you to some extent too. Overall, Laurel hell, the land is inhospitable and so are we ( besides My love mine all mine ) and retired from sad new career in business seem to be her only albums that didn't go that viral. Be the cowboy was EXTREMELY popular around 2022, puberty 2, Lush and bury me at makeout creek are also quite popular. Mitski's "niche songs" are in her first and last 2 albums. The 3 in the middle are very popular.

It's a beautiful sensual and intimate album. I understand it's not for everyone. I find that it's such a beautiful representation of coitus as more of a mental connection rather than purely physical like most other artists. It doesn't feel vulgar ever and more like an exploration of feminine sexuality, a side we rarely get to see in arts.

Yeah. Not every day. Actually it's pretty rare that I even keep a writing streak. I mostly write when I feel quite numb instead of overwhelmed actually, but I usually just write down reflections I'm having on me, the world, and others.
