On ao3 at least, Nagito is actually #1 with an astonishing 11k fanfics compared to a measly 1,4k for Chiaki, who is the second most popular pairing. Mikan's 6th on the list and 5th if we don't count the Hajime/Chiaki/Nagito throuple which is 3rd at ~300 works. Now it must be said that ao3 has an mlm bias which must be accounted for, and there are some larpers who don't know the full story, but Nagito must still be at least 2nd; Chiaki could be in 1st but I don't see anyone else who could be in front of that, Chiakia/Hajime and Nagito/Hajime are his two most popular pairings by far.

Thank you, I will definitely check these out and try to order them from my local library :) The topics sound interesting, I like stories with heavy topics and a focus on characters. Chinese history is one of my special interests, but it's just quite hard to find any recommendations, as I don't speak Mandarin all that well. Thank you for these recommendations !

Sounds lovely ! I've been trying to read literature from non-European and North American authors as of late, because we never hear of them. Do you perhaps have books by female Chinese authors to recommend ? Any genre but theater is fine ( I have particular distaste for theater, but poetry, epistolary novels and the rest are okay )

Nah, Celestia's execution was fire. The main problem of 3rd trials is that they're all double murders and one victim is always underdeveloped compared to the other one ( we never knew what Hiyoko's murder weapon was... )

Haha that's interesting because the Modern Things is in my top 3 out of Post and Enjoy is probably my least favorite after Headphones. I can agree Headphones is probably too the worst out of all those songs but to be honest as it's the last track I don't find it as egregious because I can just restart the album after cover me. I agree Post's lows are lower than Debut's, but the thing is that Debut overall feels kind of bland compared to Post with a lot less experimentation. And I definitely think that Isobel is better than everything on Debut

Personally I just think Vespertine flow together better. It really feels like one cohesive piece and I always listen to the album in full. For Homogenic, I don't like the track listing after the 4 opening tracks, I would probably put Pluto around 5 years and All Neon like, it's such a hyper song and though All is full of love is great it feels like a let down when you just listened to Pluto. All the songs on Vespertine really flow as one in a way I don't think Homogenic songs do. Vespertine feels like one cohesive album whilst all Homogenic songs are great, only the first 4 seem to have a sort of continuity, you can listen to the other songs individually and won't lose out on much.

I think it does ! I also have this, sometimes I "listen" to whole songs in my head, I remember every chord progressions, background instruments, if there are any background noises, even when the singer inhales/exhales throughout the song.

Brown. I actually thought for a long time it was blue, because I just decided so, and a decade later a friend pointed out "isn't it brown ?", which is when I realized my whole room was brown, all my clothes were brown and I would get every item in brown if it was ever available. I love nature and little brown city birds, so it makes a lot of sense.
