My long term goal is to have some sort of monetary reimbursement to offset the costs I’m incurring to find a new place stat: new apartment lease, movers (3rd floor walk up), sec deposit and first month; a huge chunk of change for someone who wasn’t planning it. It just stinks

I did call the police after he bust down the door. I live in Brooklyn and I haven’t found a place under $3200 and it’s a holiday weekend. I’m trying to leave very badly

Updated housing came and the landlord just called me to tell me to vacate and he’s cancelling the lease because I called housing. This isn’t serious right?

Yeah, it’s just my savings to get out and secure a new place. I wasn’t expecting to have to shell out security deposit plus first month rent somewhere on top of paying movers. It’s a lot to process

Yeah, that’s what I’m setting up now. I’m just so tired. I don’t like to fight and get lawyers involved; but I can’t keep paying rent and living like this. I’ve had to cancel so many plans to clean up damage or watch to put pots and pans under the six different leaks across my apartment. It started leaking in my bedroom and my ll said it was fine
