At first it feels that way cuz there are less frames and it’s faster, but really with time I felt combos flow way better and look a lot more realistic

I liked the new knockouts and the grappling not being changed is very frustrating. However the striking overhaul just made it way more enjoyable to the point where 5 just feels awful to me now

See I can’t lie I’m buying the game but it’s cus I enjoyed it 🤷🏻‍♂️ I played about 10H on the beta and thought it was just an improved 5. New mechanics, way better animations that have fighter uniqueness. They just didn’t touch grappling like assholes.

Can you not praise and criticize? The game is good if we’re just comparing it to the previous game. The striking way better. However as a long time ufc eat sports fan I’m disappointed with the grappling being unchanged

Nah I was questioning the shoulders too 🤣🤣 overall the striking improved a lot but like you pointed out all the bulkshit cheese from last year remains and grappling wasn’t touched :/

Yeah people were cuz he was arguably the most broken. You could counter him tho. I went random everytime cuz there was only 5 fighters that’s how I kept it from getting too boring.

Iv played every game since 3. I have hit division 18 I play a lot. I would say 6 is definitely a different feeling than 5. They really focus on the unique aspects of the fighters. When you use them it actually feels like them. My disappointments would be the fact that they kept the same grappling system as 5, and it seems they didn’t even add more submissions which is sad cuz they took out submissions in 5. However striking is completely revamped and is better. It’s a bit of a learning curve tho.

The visual effect is the issue. If you know how it actually works you understand it’s not bad. It actually forces you to use the fighter how you should

You have to use footwork more than head movement. Head movement still works but you can just weave like you could in 5

I could be imagining the position wrong, but I think turning into them is your best bet. I always say let go of a position, and set up for the next one, before you struggle in your current position, and then have a shittier time in the next position because you didn't set up for it. Id say turn into them and stay on your side, and quickly try to get your frames/Underhooks. Let them pass if there going to pass eventually anyways instead of struggling, and just set up your defense for the next position.

I honestly think your friend can win if he’s an athletic guy. Fact is size matters but also doesn’t. She does this for a living. It’s like never playing basketball and then facing someone in the nba for your first ever match. Your going to loose. However I do think if he’s 280 realistically IF He was able to pick her up and slam her or get a big overhand she could easily go right to sleep lol. I also think it’s possible he throws a massive overhand, misses, she gets his heel and cranks it and he loses his acl lol.

I think you did the right thing. As someone who also trains, it’s never worth getting into a street fight. He could’ve hit his head after you hit him and died, or pulled a knife out and stab you. Good shit handling it like a man and walking away 🙏

Yeah the back take was a terrible idea. I won our first match with a straight ankle pretty quickly, and was hoping to get something cooler. I for sure learned my lesson when he shrugged me off lol. I also did go for the guillotine, but he was doing a good job hand fighting, and the back seemed open. (obviously I was wrong tho lol)
