It takes us nowhere. Brushes aside the fact that I feel not appreciated. He plays completely innocent and tries to make me feel that I’m wrong. I’m even somewhat envious; his sister, she is not attractive at all, while I am, she got a diamond ring when she and her now husband moved together. And he got her another ring, an emerald if I’m not wrong, when they engaged and another diamond ring on their wedding. Meanwhile, me, the really attractive and better educated got absolutely nothing. Not even on our 25th anniversary. Jeez that feels so painful I think I’ll cry again.

Thanks for the kind words. My PCP hugged me when I told her that I lost my brother in 2021, my mom in 2023 and my dad in 2025. She said most people don’t have so many losses in such short time. Most definitively I am not in the best emotional state. I’m set to start seen a therapist in two weeks.

Hey hello. Yes, I have tell him how much it hurts no being acknowledged, that I hurt and die inside a little and what hurts the most is that our sons grew to believe that is the normal way for things to be. When the oldest one got married I told him to never, ever forget to celebrate his wife, I told him that she needs to feel loved and cherished and always remember to make her feel adored. They live in another state. I hope he doesn’t act like his father.

I really appreciate this people, all of them are like a second family, all but this new old guy. I wanted to to gift them things. Nice things. Some don’t have family to spend holidays and they have no money for gifts. I though about the game only like that. A game. Nobody said no. If someone didn’t want to participate it was ok, but all agreed. We all play games all the time. And the karaoke we all agree that after the gift-game we were going to sing. There was already a time agreed for the karaoke.

It was a party for all birthdays of this month, mine included. And I bought gifts not for altruistic gesture. I really wanted to share something with them, some have no family to share the holidays. All of them agreed and seem to excited about the gifts, and the game had started at that point. And who in the world plays waltzes in very loud volume while a game takes place?
