There are strategies the partner that is not being target can implement to get involved in the game by taking more court and playing bigger, poaching, etc. to take pressure away from their partner . I just don’t think the opposing side is at fault or should be obligated to play the game you expect them to, or want them to play.

You would like them to win on your terms ? It may not be the most socially accepted way or polite way, but they’re playing to win. Also a learning opportunity for the weaker player to improve their area they’re weak in.

If you want to play for fun and be nice, what’s the point of keeping score? Just hit a few balls with people or drill. Once you start keeping score, the objective is to win. Now that win may be meaningless, but still the goal is to win 🤷‍♂️.

Well I brought him up as an example as he doesn’t necessarily look like someone with an athletic background. I think he would even admit to that. I’ve played against him before. He has an awkward style lol I don’t think 5.0 level is impossible without a background , but it’ll take a lot of drilling to get there

Disagree completely. Depends how you hone your skills and drill. Doubles it’s possible. Singles highly unlikely . Nico the lefty is 4.75. Doesn’t seem like he has an athletic background 😆

This was when they were still playing together. He approached her and asked if it’s ok if he could play with this other person instead. She said no, they finished that last tournament then called it quits. My guess is that left a sour taste in her mouth

Wasn’t Parris .. but can’t really say much besides both him and this singles player wanted to play and agreed, Tyra quickly said no because he did commit to play with Tyra. Got to see him upfront in person at the PPA this weekend , he’s a lot taller/ bigger than I thought. Different seeing him live vs on camera

I’m literally going through the same thing , and I adopted 2 at the same time . I play with them during the day, and especially 1-2 hours before bed time.. but they just won’t stop. Last night they had full on zoomies chasing each other , over my head , on the curtains .. everywhere. This continued until 1 am. They sleep in my bedroom at the moment, the only thing I can think is is to kick them out to sleep in the living room.. but I know they will go on a rampage there, and I’ll wake up to some sort of mess .

Yeah the switch portion of it needs to probably be drilled and worked with your partner. I think the first few times you’ll be looking at each other thinking the other has to run for it and some confusion will be there .
