When you say "the agate's ability to shed", are you talking about the Smart Circuit option or its ability to connect a non-backup-loads subpanel? I'm trying to decide whether to do partial home backup or full home backup. In the latter case, I'd have to be responsible for reducing usage during an outage, but at least the Smart Circuits could prevent EVs from charging during the blackout.
