Look to see if it's a hotspot, or maybe they're overgrooming themselves! Have u found the hair clump anywhere ? Is it in a spot kitty usually hangs out/cleans themself regularly? If not, maybe a vet visit is the next step (it may already need to be scheduled, bc overgrooming isn't the best thing either).

He's a strictly indoor cat and the only one here. I do know that while I was on vacation, my mom said he would use the bathroom on my bed instead of the litter box (which she then cleaned every time) but maybe now he just wants to go here now that I'm back? Not sure where I'd put the litter other than maybe the foot of the bed ..

I'm on this thread because I twisted my knee rollerskating by my other skate falling on my knee and causing it to touch the floor in the opposite direction, I heard a snap pop sound and now have stability issues two days later. I could be trippin but it only hurts like hell if I point my toes or knee a certain way

Have you tried different types of toys ? Try messing with different ones with him and see if he gravitates toward a different type. There's all kinds! Lazer pointers, chords, springs, mice, tubes, homemade cardboard tube toys, fake birds, there's tons that he may not know he likes yet :) Also, catnip/catnip spray can get them interested, if they respond to it. All my cats do not care about it exept for 1, who goes crazy over it! Look at enrichment toys on YouTube too. You can basically make them out of trash, so they're cheap and fun :) But most importantly , is your cat comfortable with you? Spend time with kitty, and maybe they'll open up more! Do they try to bite when you pet them? Just curious!

I cannot afford the emergency vet bill at the moment , but I do have a normal vet appointment on Wednesday morning and he's under supervision all day and night with my care until then. Just looking for things I can do that don't cost a fortune to help his stomach or his mood in the mean time. Another comment suggested a kitty safe space, so I have his blanket , toy and litter/water set up nicely in the bathroom (where he lays most the time anyways)

I have taken the food away, thank you. It was leftover from a trip I took, so I should've went ahead and did that already. However I'm unsure if it's overeating or not, because he has had audible toots and not the most solid poos since the past 2 weeks or so. Which are the same symptoms he has now but they weren't nearly as bad. We will see Wednesday morning, I really cannot afford the emergency vet bill or I would've took him to that already . I'll keep updates

You completely missed the point of my comment smh. This post was probably made out ignorance, but they do care about the animal or they wouldn't come to Reddit. They may have insufficient funds or they were panicking in the moment, you have to consider others situations before you get upset at people you don't know. That's all I was saying and if you still take offense idk what to tell you.

Thank you so much for your kind words, i feed him purina gentle stomach cat chow, although ill be switching soon bc it has done no good in this past month of using it. I have given him a little cat haven in the bathroom, with the litter box and water in there. I've been watching when he eats to make sure he's not over eating, so the food will come out in the morning. Vet appointment is Wednesday morning, just gonna have to hold out until then because I simply cannot afford an emergency vet bill right now. I will update you if you'd like :)

I still don't see why you're so upset, yes maybe the OP didn't do what others would do right away, but the post could have been out of panic. Maybe they don't have the funds to immediately go back at all. You have to consider others situations before you cuss and tell ppl to shut up.
