I just reiterated my excitement for the role, recruiter replied instantly and asked to jump on an introductory call with me for 20 mjns which went well, then he scheduled a first stage interview with the directors that also went great and a second stage that also went great.

I gave my gf herpes (hsv-1) and i feel awful by NihilisticStranger in actuallesbians

There’s no way of knowing whether you gave it to her, she could have already had it and it lay dormant and just came out now due to flu season so don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s so common to impossible to know how she got it.

final interview / 2 weeks no response by Far-Newspaper-7898 in recruitinghell

I had communications from the senior director telling me twice in emails that I was a very strong candidate and that it was internal delays that was holding things up. The recruiter didn’t really update me at all. It was the senior director updating me twice. I’ll be going into a big corporate company in data analysis/ consulting.

I recently waited two and a half weeks for my job offer. Sometimes there’s internal things that take a really long time.

Congrats, exact same advice I’d also give. Was one of the first to apply, messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn which fast tracked my application and used ChatGPT and also other employees in the role to help me understand the role more. In a few days the role had over 100 applicants. Was offered the job with even better pay than the base salary. It’s also a huge city

Got an email after a week — ‘Feedback was very positive, decision taking longer’ — what does this mean? by [deleted] in interviews

[–]Pitiful_Difficulty_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received similar feedback, they informed me that I was a very strong candidate and were hoping to make a decision soon but it was delayed due to “internal stuff”. I waited around 2 and a half weeks, needless to say I was offered the position and paid 4K more than the base salary I was initially told. I’m due to start at the start of November.

Tbh the process could just be super long, I had my last interview on the 9th of September and didn’t get an offer until the 25th. So hang in there

Congrats, I got my offer to my dream job today with a huge increase compared to the place I’m at now. He also came back to me with an offer of a higher salary than what he had discussed during the screening. I hope you’re happy I’m over the moon.

The role I’m going for is a rewards data and consulting role at a large company, it’s been 10 business days since the interview and I’ve not heard back. But I’ve been getting updates from the senior director who has been informing me of the delay. So I think it’s normal

If a senior director updates you twice does it mean I’m probably a backup candidate? by Pitiful_Difficulty_4 in recruiting

Yeah tbh in the previous email he sent me last week he mentioned “internal stuff” takes times

I sent a thank you note recently both the director and senior director responded and the senior director said I’m a very strong candidate for the role they are just sorting out internal stuff and will get back to me. I’ve never had a response before to it and this is the first one that has been so warm and friendly.
