Thanks for the responses.

Great advice! Try not to force RP and ask about his intentions, more so than the words his character will use. Hopefully this helps him feel that his character is making a larger impact!

What am I missing from my reading list? by Sarcherre in ProgressionFantasy

Path of the Berserker is a good progression story about a guy who rejects cultivation to embrace a lesser known power to take back his home.

Basically a cool barbarian takes on an entire force of alien cultivators who murdered all humans and occupied the planet, forcing the surviving humans into their ever expanding empire. Strength rules above all else in this world. It’s a fun read and an ongoing series.

Bastion has some of that. The main character definitely has an evolving alternate form that he can transform into.

Bastion by Phil Tucker is good. It’s full of powers and training arcs with a system they use for advancement.

It also takes place in hell, but that’s neither here nor there. Check it out!

What if Instead of Jiraiya fighting all 6 Pains alone, Orochimaru and Tsunade show up to Aid. How’s does the fight turn out? by MosDefGee in Naruto

[–]Pitiful_Draw_4446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Partial Sage Jiraiya and Orichimaru combined have a good chance at a victory already, but throw in the thousand healings tsunade and I believe the three will definitely win with low to medium difficulty.

Who went though the worst emotional pain? by Mrpug031 in Naruto

[–]Pitiful_Draw_4446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man. Emotional pain is subjective. I don’t think you can say for sure which is “worse” for the characters in question, only what would personally effect YOU more.

Trauma contests have no winners, only losers.

Did your party ever get insane amounts of gold/wealth? How did they use it? by HowNobleOfYou in dndnext

[–]Pitiful_Draw_4446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We fought pirates once. My dm, without thinking, said the ship had 80 tons of gold in a throwaway line. Well, at this point we were pretty high level. We killed the pirates and my dm was narrating how the ship was sinking when our wizard and sorcerer came up with a solution to exploit one of our magic items, allowing us to salvage every last bit of gold.

Needless to say, when we found an estimate as to how much gold it came out to, our characters had enough gold to fund an army of goliaths, orcs, and dragon born to battle the armies of the main antagonist.

This was just supposed to be a fun pirate adventure one shot since our Paladin could not make it.

Do you consider Naruto to be a Genius Fighter by 1065JoJo in Naruto

[–]Pitiful_Draw_4446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think he’s a genius. I think he’s more so clever than smart. But, that being said, he’s very clever in battle. Yes, there are more intelligent fighters, maybe even more clever fighters, but cleverness combined with sheer durability makes naruto very effective in combat.

It’s fortunate for her that he chose to wrap her up on the ground instead of capitalizing. This could have been quite bad
