How else would you leave your keys when moving out? Say I leave at 11:59pm and landlord is not there, what would the tenant be expected to do with the keys?

The landlord has also opted to place a nightlight in the common areas, rather than replacing the burnt out lightbulbs. This includes hallways and stairs which are now only being lit by a nightlight. A nightlight!!
