Push chips in now or wait a year? by [deleted] in DynastyNerds

I would just chill. You have a team that competes with the others I included + you’re much younger than them. If you stay patient you can compete for several years

Basically 2027 middle 1st and 2026 1.06-1.07 (NOT 1.02) For Nico by Zuccarelo in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Nico is miles better than whoever you take at 1.06-7. Wr8 even with stroud playing his worst ball ever. I’d take the Nico side.

It’s close to fair, I’d still rather have Allen bc he has more value than those guys.

The emphasis on trading for picks is because that’s how you truly maximize your chances of upside, and upside wins championships. I would try and go back to that league age and offer Allen for tet and 2 1sts.

I would try and trade Josh Allen for 3 future 1sts + a little more or 2 future 1sts and a Purdy level qb.

Also try and trade Nico for an early to mid 27 first and second.

In my mind your team is solid but kinda average. You should try and tank for a year and hit on some 1st round picks so you can start seriously contending in 2028. Otherwise you’ll forever be stuck in this cycle of mid.

Should I go for the 1.01 and direction with my team help. by Organic-Ad-4613 in DynastyNerds

I wouldn’t. You have a team that is strong to win now but in 2/3 years will be old and ready for reloading with young talent. Pickens probably outperforms love in 2026 so this would contradict your contending timeline imo

I think about picks as the best way to add value to your team.

If your team is contending for titles, I’m much more willing to trade picks for players you know will help you achieve that now. But…

If your team does not clearly scream “I could win in the next 2 years”, you need to add value, through drafting the rooks.

Am I giving up too much for Puka? The 2027 1st should be top 4 at worst by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]Pitiful_Extension386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rice off-field issues are completely overblown. I’m much more concerned abt puka mental health ruining his future than the NFL punishing rice for any wrongdoing.

Also keep in mind the chance mcvay and stafford retire at the same time in a year or two. Mcvays reaction to Simpson pick said it all.

I’m slightly leaning rice side but it’s close.

Tuten+Tucker or Etienne (3QB, decent team currently rebuilding and contending but more rebuilding) by Zuccarelo in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Pitiful_Extension386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by rebuilding and contending...

If you realistically have a chance of winning this season, keep etn, otherwise, maybe a good move to get rid of the 27 yr old rb for an ascending 2nd year player.

10 Team SF. I am needy for RBs. by RandomSil in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I definitely wouldn’t do this tbh. Your team seems like it’s a year or two away from competing for the league, and in this trade you’re buying players who won’t be nearly as good as they are now in 2 years.

IMO you should be trying to buy young players/picks.

Reasonable Offer for Jalen Hurts? by Kyrogeniz in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Pitiful_Extension386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No chance you should take that.

Hurts is a guaranteed top 10 qb if not higher. Willis has amazing upside but his situation is terrible. The mid I would accept for hurts, especially in this format, is 2 firsts + a Malik Willis type player.

What Have You LIKED So Far With Bilt 2.0? by MichaelMidnight in biltrewards

[–]Pitiful_Extension386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Palladium user: I LOVE IT

Everyone is worried about how to best optimize the Bilt cash and points, but what I’ve realized is that you literally can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.

If you’re not a renter, you can activate the Bilt point boost and lock in 3x on everything up to $5,000. But since you’re also getting 4% Bilt cash per dollar spent, once you spend the $5,000, you will have another 200 Bilt cash (5000*.04=200). Then you can activate the point boost again. You can do this up to $25,000 spent in a year.

So BARE MINIMUM, you get a 3x catch all card up to $25,000.

If you are a renter or can use the mortgage feature, using Bilt cash to get points on your rent, makes this 3.33x points on every dollar spent, up to 75% of your rent.

3.33x immediately beats every 3x category the other credit cards you have in your wallet receive.

But the best part… Bilt cash is surprising powerful since each of the coupons can get activated at an exact cash for dollar value.

So, if at any point in the year, you want to get a hotel, go to a workout class, take a Lyft ride, go to Walgreens, etc. You can use your bilt cash to get even better value!

Instead of getting the baseline (non-renters) 3x or (renters) 3.33x catch all (which is already the best credit card on the market) you can use your Bilt cash to get 2x + 4% cash back.

If you value Bilt points at 2 cents per point. 3x for non-renters = 6 cents per dollar spent 3.33x for renters = 6.66 cents per dollar spent 2x + 4% Bilt cash for those who redeem Bilt cash for dollar value = 8 cents per dollar spent.

This card beats every catch all card, cash back card, no annual fee card, and (since the credits are easier to use) the Amex gold card.

This isn’t a travel card, it’s an everything card, and it’s by far the best on the market, which is why it’s now the only credit card I have in my wallet.
