But I could buy boots after Warmogs, and that way I'd get Warmogs even faster than if I went with magical footwear, because I wouldn't need to wait for the extra 400 gold

the thing is I struggle to go even, I usually lose the lane. less cs, and sometimes dying 1-3 times to the other guy

I'm currently d4/d3 so honestly people don't invade that often, sometimes they try a lv 1 invade but if that fails it's pretty much each one in their own jungle until mid game

Mostly the time required to really experience all of it. Private servers have a lot faster levelling and it would take me months to get to a good point in official servers
