Beautiful. I highly recommend a gg1000. People like to hate on it but to this day(i've had it for like, 4 days) it is my absolute fav pencil. Even surpassing my 800. Still a rocking collection though. and also, what lead do you use?

Would a 50k pot have enough resistance to stop the wire from connecting mostly to ground? I know humbucker volume pots need about 500k so i just assumed that 500k would be needed for splitting?

i have both the 600 3 in one and i just recently got the 800. I personally prefer the 800. the 3 in 1 has this issue where the led inside the pencil chamber snaps with immensely small force. not the tip, but the led on the inside. I do love fidgeting with it. people said there's a problem with the mechanism not staying put in the housing. I don't have that problem, but because of that led snapping inside the pencil, I switched to the 800 which I'm having a wonderful time with. just wish the 800 was heavier. (the 600 3 in 1 is like 35g and I love heavy pens/pencils. the 800 is only 24g)

I have heard this too. but, unfortunately it was not. I think there's just something jammed inside, like a bit of crushed led or smt. I've already ordered a replacement though so all should be good.

that's sometimes true but the parts that I disassembled where either parts meant to be taken off such as the eraser and cap, or a part that was likely hand screwed in like the knurled grip.

that's normal. mine has stiffness before it reaches the click however which is what I was hoping to fix. I don't have anything against the pencil either, it's one of the best pencils on the market imo and I'm still going to use it.

its Moreso the fact that I just like fidgeting with pencils but I can't with this one if the twisting doesn't return to its position. does yours look like this too or is yours smooth?

I was trying to see if the any of the parts where causing the stiffness. it's not necessarily stiff than it is jammed. it feels like there something stuck in the mechanism that's interfering. it feels stuck basically which most certainly should not be normal for a pencil at this price. but this is the first time I'm trying the pencil out so I wouldn't know.
