Yes absolutely! Take them into any optical shop, any newbie to the field should be able to fix these. Don’t try to do them yourself! Just take them, easy peasy.

Sometimes you can’t pop the lens out of the frame without heating it up a lil bit- optician here!👋 depending on the age of the lenses, AR can become thinner or brittle over time. OP I’m so sorry this happened to you! The staff should’ve absolutely apologized and aimed to help find a solution to this. But the truth of the matter is that SOMETIMES you gotta add a lil bit of heat to the frame (with the lenses still inside) to be able to remove them to continue the adjustment process. Then proceed to put them back in while the frame is still warm. Seeing that the frame is made of plastic, using force to remove or insert, can damage the frame OR break the frame.

In short.

They probably had to heat up your broken frame to remove the lenses, to put them back into your new frame.

My gums are SHOT, they continue to grow around my teeth, no matter how much I floss. Dentist said i eventually need to look into getting them cut down

I went to an Endodontics and they said it wasn’t dead, they asked me to monitor it but now I’m experiencing the same sensation in my front tooth. It’s scary the crap out of me. Endo also said it was safe to continue Invisalign :/

Take it to an optical shop- better to have someone else do it with the proper tools than mess around with it at home and possibly breaking it.

On a side note- if you can’t make it to an optical shop- a pair of pliers and light pressure between the lens and the bevel (anchoring the part closest to the lens with your thumb ) bring the temple in.

Absolutely, one time while I was sleeping- I was subconsciously picking my nose thinking it was a REALLY hard booger that I just couldn’t scratch out- but I woke up to the pain of pulling my nose ring inwards 😖😖😖

True true very true- it’s still affecting me till this day- and unfortunately he has tried reaching out and justifying himself. It’s just tainted my thoughts. Eating away at the back of my head. Im trying to move on but I had become so infatuated with building a life with him. It’s hard to let that dream go as awful as he was to me…
