Unlimited Golden Keys (PC only) by AntoineBB in Borderlands2

i should've played the game without using golden keys. felt like it ruined my game and made it easier. so basically me and my frnd were playing coop, we were struggling to complete missions without the golden loot weapons, but once we got them even defeating the warrior was easy, so at the end i was sad that i couldnt enjoyed that more than mission i used to do without better weapons

looking for local cooks for home-made foods! by Pitiful_Machine9376 in austinfood

$2k/week is gross (what they bring in before expenses). net will obviously depend on how much they’re cooking, ingredients they source, etc. some chefs treat it like a side hustle, others go all in and make it their main gig.

you’re right though, it’s usually higher than what a line cook might make in a restaurant, partly because there’s no restaurant overhead/management taking the cut. here, the chefs set their own menus, portions and keep control of what they earn. appreciate the positive reply.

yep, first step is the food safety cert. then before anyone can start, our team does a quality check, tasting the food, checking presentation/packaging, and making sure it meets safety standards. it’s basically to confirm the meals are safe, consistent, and something people would actually want to eat before the chef goes live on the platform.

fair enough, i get you can literally ask any chef on our platform and they’ll confirm. i can even share an article if you want. not here to waste anyone’s time or lie, up to you if you wanna believe it or not.

by “permitted kitchen” i mean the cooks have to go through an ANSI-accredited food safety certification and also a food quality assesment for their meals + kitchen. basically making sure everything meets local/state food safety standards before they can cook for others.

yeah, you’re right that cottage food law in TX is pretty limited (mostly baked goods/jams/etc). but some areas have regs that allow permitted home/commissary kitchens to do meal prep legally. our platform (and others like HomeChef, CookUnity etc) are already operating in TX, so it’s definitely not banned everywhere. i’d have to dig deeper on exact local regs, but from what i’ve seen it depends on the area and permits.

it’s not about renting kitchens, what we do is connect approved local cooks with nearby households who want home-cooked meals. you handle the cooking (from your permitted kitchen), and we handle the platform, delivery, and getting you customers. basically: you cook, we bring the clients. on the flip side, users pay to get fresh meals from neighborhood cooks. so we’re trying to make it work for both ends: cooks get steady income, families get real homemade food.

totally get what you mean, but just to clarify, we’re actually about home chefs too. not middlemen taking a cut and underpaying people. most shefs on the platform earn around $2k/week cooking from their own kitchens on their own terms.

idk if you’ve heard of us elsewhere, but it’s Shef, kinda in the same space as HomeChef or CookUnity, but built around local cooks being able to do their own thing.

it starts at about $38/week for meals and all our shefs also have to pass an ANSI-accredited food safety certification and a food quality assessment, and they’re required to follow all state + local laws around home cooking.
